Come along as I show you just how easy replacing the rear brakes and rotors are on this 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. The brakes are almost the exact same procedure for all 2004-2016.

Hi sir Hyundai santa fe 2008 when you shift gear to d or r its push the car what is the issue can you explain plz
Yeah I had to drill those damn screws out. Such a stupid thing to do “let’s put a phillips head screw somewhere notorious for rust”. If an f150 doesn’t need screws holding the rotor to the hub, neither does a damn sante fe. Good video
Which way do I turn the adjuster? I can see the adjuster it seems to move if I turn it. But I went both directions, tried pulling it off and it still wouldn’t come off. Thanks
is that shock bolt loose? looks like it backed out.
Please guys anyone know moment to that two screws on caliper 13:58 of video
Why you not push the piston back?
So whats the purpose of the rubber plug you reinstalled

The Disgruntled Mechanic I get it now I wasn’t paying attention I guess lol I always called it a wear bar idk
Nice explanation. However, no need to replace the screws that hold the rotor to the hub. They surve no purpose and are only there for the manufacturing process. The wheel will hold the rotor in place just fine. Leave them out and make it easier on the next guy.
