How to replace drum bearings on Panasonic NA-148VA2 Washing Machine. If you have Bearing noise or rumbling noise on your washing machine you can fix it for less than £25 by replacing the drum bearings.
I believe it is also applicable to model NA-168VX2, NA-168VG2, NA-128VA2, NA-147VB2.

Additional guidance notes:-
You don't need to remove the top weight from the drum section. 2:30
When reassembling the bearing shaft back into drum housing, ensure the black bearing seal is fully pushed in flat, all the way around. 6:00

I've just followed this guide for my NA-148VX2. It is almost completely similar. It took me about six hours... but my machine is now silent. The hardest part was removing the seal and interior bearing. I had to resort to extreme violence and an SDS drill in hammer mode to force the seal and bearing out together. My machine was older than the one in the video, and the seal did not want to budge due to corrosion. I didn't remove the rear top weight, it was unnecessary. Please note that you'll want to spend some time cleaning inside the tub after you have removed the bearing. My machine had lost some grease onto the inside of the tub. I recommend some limescale remover, if you live in a hard water area. Do remove the door (three screws) it will make removing the door trim very much easier. Finally, clean the bearing seat thoroughly, I used 0000 wire wool, before fitting the new bearings. If the bearings don't seat properly, the drum will not spin freely.
