Me and my friend will be tackling this in the near future. Your videos have made things a lot easier I believe. Is it possible to link where you got your gears, shift forks, shift drum and clips from? I'm assuming our 2nd gear problem will roughly be the same.

@@brianperez6667 we completed the job ages ago and it’s run sweet ever since. I can’t remember what year it was. FZR600 maybe 1997? Or earlier

Cheers. Very interesting and informative. My bike is occasionally not going into 2'nd, but I hardly ever ride it, and I think I just need to move my gear lever down a tooth, as it also depends on weather you are wearing boots and soft footwear when changing gear. I'm also going to do my needles and jets as she is either missing or starving at around 85 mph, and it's hard to tell with the noise and the helmet. But she's definitely losing power after 85? MPH. It's not the fuel supply to the carbs, as I've replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump?
