I was a 2nd class wielder before I hurt my back and couldn't work anymore but have never brazed anything. So is it as strong as a wield?? Why did you wield the metal rod but not on the first time with the all thread rod?? It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!! Enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up I subscribed to your channel

thanks my friend, appriciate it yes, brazing at correct joints it can be reliable. i brazed the first part beacause it was welded by some one else before and apparantly didn't worked out. so based on that and the fact that i didn't know the composition of the wrench material ( on the body of the wrech it said CHROME VANADIUM ,but i doubt that ) i decided to braze it . the second joint beacause was just two pieces of mild steel, i just welded it.
