I had this pinball many years ago and it really was a well designed game as far as game play goes.

Fun game would not mind owning one!

Any idea what could cause the 12v coming into the power supply from transformer to be reading 21volts on this system? Bridge rectifier maybe??

I have a Gottlieb 80B system, Hollywood Heat. It has issues - won't boot. How do you measure the voltage at the transformer fuses? Are all the listed voltages referenced to ground? I'm measuring to ground, but some voltages are low. It's the transformer shown at 2:54 in this video. BTW the ground mods at the transformer are done.

Good video. Wish there was one to adjust the settings of the game from liberal to conservative and vice versa.

We don't have this particular game in anymore but usually all of that stuff is in the manual if you can find a copy of it.

The playfield mylar often failed under warranty so were replaced with silkscreened playfield art. The replacement playfields are still available the last I looked. They do not feature the car in the middle over the checkered flag.

can we get a video of you rebuilding the flippers and doing some of the actual repairs.. hell montage it!

I am seeking to buy the same U1 10939 chip for the display, but can't seem to find one on the internet. Can you tell me where you ordered yours from or if i could purchase on of yours?

They're hard to find, and many of the ones on ebay are fake. This link though www.ebay.com/itm/Rockwell-10939P-50-Vintage-MPU-MCU-IC-PDIP40-x-1pc/152420102636 is where I got mine. They work and are authentic, but they're in china, might take awhile to get in. I don't have any in at the moment however....
