Repairing a foam RC Plane - Durafly D.H.100 Vampire repair

This video is a time-lapse repair of the Durafly Vampire i so enthusiastically crashed trying an inverted low pass. I thought it was truly a total loss, but i was convinced to give it a try - and I am so pleased I did!

FlyMario I got some flights in but sadly the camera didn’t work! Hoping to get some air-to-air footage once it’s painted.
Now i feel bad i trowed my vampire in the trascan after seeing this.... great job

The moment I saw a glue gun..😮. Gorilla glue takes longer to cure but it won't let you down on a hot day 😊I do hope that you have successfully completed the repairs! Good job!
Wow this is great! I really wish I had done this with my Durafly Vampire when I had totalled it!
Crash? Did you mean... Upgrade? Well done, I'm impressed Can I male a request? Instead of giving it an RAF Livery, give it a Tiger meet styled one. I don't think a real Vampire Tiger existed, but I stilm absolutely love the look of these liveries.

Stratos2 - no videos here thanks for the support! I’ve just bought the paints, but the tiger livery would look great too! Maybe on another one...maybe a bigger one...🤔

@@TheRCPilotsLog A tiger would be super cool! If you build a X-29, I recently designed a Tiger Livery for that plane. And if you build any other plane I have a huge libary of cool tigers that I collected. From Tornados, F-16s, F18s, Mirages, Eurofighters etc. I got a huge amout of these
nice . does it fly well without the landing gear? how's it to hand launch? what flight times are you getting since it's a lighter model now? cheers

It flew great without the gear. I was getting 4:30 flight times mixed throttle. Hand launch was easy overhead from the fuse.
Only if you could do that with a real airplane! Gear job
