When my electronics burned out, I couldn't buy the original GPS module. That's why I showed how you can program almost every module for this ship. As for precision, with the original modules you have a maximum precision of 2.5 m, and with the new one, about 1 m.

Had mine over 18 months not had any problems at all a friend. Has same boat he uses his on extremely long 14 day plus sessions. And had no issues . Maybe it's because we sealed ours with a quality clear silicon around switches .hinges .hull . And used petroleum jelly vasaline around motors and servo switches on hoppers lights . battery compartment lid etc repels water ingress

@@RobertZovko we got ours direct from Shenzhen factory GPS models and fish finders / sonar package . We dismantled boats and started the process of making watertight added cavity foam for boyancy and obtained better quality motors & propellers from RC shop . We noticed the hinges were thin and very poor quality so replaced with quality stainless steel ones and bolts with locknuts from same RC shop . Before resealing the hull using vasaline between hull & deck then covering all way round with Dow & coring fish tank sealant water tight seal and easier to split if needed.

I also worked a lot with this boat but unfortunately it gave me a problem that I couldn't solve even though I am a pro electronics - I disassembled the original position of the motherboard together with the GPS unit and put it in the center of the boat and since then the position has not worked return number 4 - do you know if there is a factory reset option? Thanks for the nice comment. As I understood, the remote works, so no reset is needed. There is a compass chip on the motherboard itself, so the motherboard must be oriented very precisely along the ship's axis, it must be as far as possible from the engine magnet, and the GPS module with the ceramic antenna must be laid horizontally, and in front of it can only be the plastic of the ship's formwork.

Hello, I see that you covered the GPS module with silicone to protect it from water. Wouldn't this affect the normal functioning of the module? I am in doubt whether to cover the module or not with the waterproof sealant... What would you recommend? Thanks for the video, it has been very helpful 👍

No matter how you seal, condensate will always appear. A little water that collects at the bottom will evaporate if you leave the cap on the bow open when the boat is not in use.

Odlično obavljeo repariranje. I video je odličan. Imam nekoliko pitanja za tebe ako nije problem da mi odgovoriš 1. Dali su postavke na GPS modulu originalne ili su neka tvoja modifikacija. Ako su modifikacija šta si postigao njima. 2. Ja sam dobio isti takav brod ali UDAVLjEN. Sve sam mu zamenio. Čak i telekomandu ali sasvim drugi model. Takodje sa GPS modulom. Tu mi je nastao problem. Stari GPS radi na svojoj originalnoj elektronici. Novi isto tako. Ali kada ih zamenim nerade oba. Priključio sam stari (originalni modul) na PC i postavio sve parametre po tvome (sa videa). Isto sam probao i sa novim, sa nove elektronike, i iako je ispravan nikako ne mogu da ga priključim na PC. Oba dva modula su isti kako tvoj na videu. Neki savet

1. originalni GNSS je serija 7 i radi samo sa GPS-om točnost oko 2,5metara. U videu sam pokazao kako postaviti seriju 7 ili 8 da bi radio na tom modelu broda. Trenutno sam stavio TOPGNSS GN-805G sa GPS+GALILEO konfiguracijom i super zadovoljan, točnost oko 1m. 2. Pitanje nisam razumio, bit je koji protokol koristi matična ploča i koje podatke prima... tako i postaviti GNSS modul

@@RobertZovko mislim da je po difoltu GN-805G predvidjen za GPS+GALILEO+GLONASS. I ja sam hteo da nabavim taj modul za sebe. Ova nova telekomanda koju sam nabavio je jednoručna. Radi dobro ali joj je grška kao i kod originalne. Problem je u tome što nov, ispravan i funkcionalan modul ne mogu da priključim na PC. U-Center program mi ga uopšte ne prikazuje da je priključen na port. Ne prepoznaje ga. Kao da je prazan. U Connect prozoru mi se uopšte ne pojavljuje COP port. Oznaka mu je HTZN TTL HT2828U8G5LF. To je ono što me buni. Dali da probam sa RS232 konekcijom.

@@bobibrada3529 Tako je zadano, ali meni se pokazalo bolje GPS+GALILEO sa SBAS (EGNOS) stabilno i greška oko 1 metar. Taj modul nije sa originalnim u-blox čipom tako da ga ne očitava pravilno, ne treba ništa podešavati na njemu samo postaviti što GNSS modul šalje (message) na matičnu ploču, a to bi trebalo raditi ili instalirati Satrack client V1.29.157 pa pokušati sa njime.

in order for the ship to be faster, stronger engines are needed, which requires more space, other electronics... I don't think it's profitable, better find another ship. If you replace the faulty parts, you can get some acceleration with a larger propeller.

Nice restoration. I am also using this bait boat. Currently right propellor produces bubbles and resulted in less power. Hence, Boat unable to cruise in straight line. Current setup is with Lucky fish finder FF9918-C. It was ok at 1st. Then the bubble issue started. Any idea what causes this issue? Is it just motor issue or imbalance or programming error? There may be several reasons, but let's eliminate the obvious first: do you do a calibration before use? is the propeller damaged? (has a spare) The oil seal of the electric motor may have given way to water? Motherboard not well fixed? (must be orthogonal to ship) ...

​@@RobertZovko Many thanks for the fast reply. Yes calibration done. Repeated testing just to be sure. I have replaced the propeller. Motherboard well placed, no displacement from start till now. 1st 20 - 30 runs was doing fine. I am unsure of the oil seal. There are some rust surrounding the both motors. Speed looks similar just by looking. May vibrate differently.

@@RobertZovko I have removed all the parts and found out the affected motor is faulty. The rotor in the canister is loose causing it to shake and loose power. Thanks for your help

Odličan video, hvala. Imam jedan problem sa GPS lokacijom na ovome brodoću. Ako imate volje pomoći, pošto vidim da znate dosta 😊. Dakle, GPS se uspiješno poveže, te na daljinskom upravljaču pokazuje točnu lokaciju (udaljenost od prve spremljene lokacije), međutim kada ga pokušam vratiti na početnu poziciju (ili bilo koju spremljenu), on krene natrag za Kinu. Dakle promijenio sam GPS modul, čak sam promijenio i ploču, međutim problem je ostao. GPS modul kao Vaš uopće nije funkcionirao(sada vidim zašto). Zatim sam naručio isti kao stari i situacija ista... svaka pamoć je dobro došla.. hvala i LP

@@RobertZovko Puno hvala na odgovoru. Da, koristio sam ga prije. Sve je radilo ok. Dakle, zaista, promijenio sam i ploču i GPS modul i problem je ostao isti. 4x4 pozicije. Ugradio sam u njega Fishfinder(doslovno ugradio), pa bi sljedeće pitanje bilo jeli moguće da se poremetio centar težine, pa zbog toga fula smijer...iako je GPSom navođen i to mi to nema smisla, a i sa obzirom da brodić nosi 2 kg hrane bez problema.... Stvarno nisam pametan...

Nije neki problem, malo strpljenja i ne bi trebalo biti teško. Rastavit je jednostavno sve je na vijke, pregledati originalno ljepljenje i kod vraćanja gornjeg dijela staviti neku mast (za more) na brtvu. Mast staviti obavezno i na osovine serva od košarica za hranjenje (pokazao u videu), što se tiče motora to možete i poslije (oni su u pravilu bolje zaštićeni)...

@@TheJuzni Ako sve dobro zaštitite, voda neće ulaziti, a vlagu uklonite tako da izvadite gumeni čep na pramcu broda kad ga ne koristite. Ja sa WD40 zaštitim osovine motora poslije upotrebe a unutra mislim da nije potreba iako neće smetati.

Kompas je na matičnoj ploči i nije dio GPS modula. Možete staviti GPS modul bez kompasa zato što ga originalni modul i nema, ali isto tako možete staviti modul sa kompasom koji neće biti u funkciji. Pozdrav

Imam još jedno pitanje ako biste bili ljubazni da mi pomognete. Kupio sam GPS modul sa u-blox neo m10 chipom. I konfigurisao sam ga isto kao sto ste i vi pokazali. Medjutim kada konektujem GPS na matičnu ploču i kada upalim brodić crvena led lampica na matičnoj ploči samo blinka u intervalima po 3, i ne mogu da uspostavim konekciju između brodića i kontrolera. Proverio sam veze najmanje desetak puta i sve mi je kako treba. Nemogu čak ni da izvršim Pairing između broda i kontrolera. Sticem utisak da je gps modul nekompatibilan sa ovom pločom. Ili sam ipak nešto i propustio? Da li znate da li ova ploca podrazav bilo koji GPS modul ili je rezervisano? Hvala puno!

Just last weekend I tested the TOPGNSS GN-805G (or GN-806G with a newer antenna) in the GPS + GALILEO + SBAS (EGNOS) configuration. You can find it on AliExpress. Works great on average the error is about 1 meter. The only thing that needs to be repaired is the connector because on the module SH 1.0 mm and on the motherboard JST 1.25 mm or ZH 1.5 mm I'm not sure, the repair is simple if you use a soldering iron. The second solution is VK2828U8G5LF: www.aliexpress.com/item/32906993894.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.17a71802fw0ZsM nothing needs to be redone for this module. There is no support for GALILEO, but you can use GLONASS. Please note that the original module only supports GPS.

Ukratko, za te novce dobije se upotrebljiv brodić. Bilo bi bolje da ima daljinski za jednu ruku, malo je nezgodno raditi sa štapom i brodom kad su obje ruke na daljinskom.

Kad vam se elektronika smoči bitno je da uređaj ne uključuje dok se u potpunosti ne osuši. Ako se radi o slanoj vodi ili soku što prije, prvo se mora oprati u alkoholu ili destiliranoj vodi i u potpunosti osušiti. U protivnom elektronika strada a to vam može pregledati neki elektroničar.

Es ist definitiv etwas mit einer Antenne, wenn alles auf kürzere Distanz funktioniert. Prüfen Sie die neue Antenne auf Kontakt im Stecker (ist die Antenne identisch?). Vielleicht ist der Stift im Stecker gebrochen, Sie müssen das Futterboot zerlegen und nachsehen.

Hallo. Bei mir funktioniert der GPS modus nicht mehr. Kalibrierung funktioniert. Entfernung zeigt immer 0 an. Speichern oder uberspeichern des Spots nicht möglich. Die Anzeige 0_|_|_|_m ist ganz verschwunden. Kann mir vielleicht jemand weiterhelfen.

Hallo, die Kalibrierung hat nichts mit dem GPS-Modul zu tun. Die Kalibrierung bezieht sich auf den Kompass, der sich auf der Hauptplatine befindet. Sie müssen das Boot zerlegen und sicherstellen, dass kein Wasser eingedrungen ist. Wenn dies der Fall ist, versuchen Sie, das GPS-Modul und die Hauptplatine zu reinigen. @@daniellenz2492 Auf dem Motherboard befindet sich ein Kompass, der durch ein Verfahren kalibriert wird, das Sie auf KZread finden (durch Drücken von zwei Tasten). Der Kompass bestimmt die Bewegungsrichtung des Schiffes. Damit das Schiff geradeaus fährt, muss die Hauptplatine orthogonal zum Rumpf des Futterbootes stehen, sie muss kalibriert sein und beide Motoren mit Propellern müssen gleich sein (Drehzahl). Das GPS-Modul kann nicht kalibriert werden, seine Genauigkeit beträgt etwa 2 Meter, was vom Modul selbst bestimmt wird, und ich habe den Programmiervorgang im Video gezeigt.

En résumé 160€ livré = (1 bateau + 1 batterie 12000ah + 1 télécommande avec écran +2 èlices + 1 chargeur secteur de batterie ) Prix/qualité on fait pas mieux sur le marché ! C'est un produit qui vaut le cout sans aucun doute, surtout sur étangs (gds lacs c'est risqué de le perdre malgré le "go home")
