Probably one of the most unprofessional videos on KZread and I watched a few trying to find a solution to my toilet not flushing, but he came up the the answer in a down to earth answer. Took my pump off and soaked in red hot water and bingo. Works a treat. Keep up the videos. Thanks a lot.

Many thanks Paul for a perfect demonstration. Exactly the problem I have on the same type of toilet. Your pump has obviously been replaced previously - hence the crimped wire connections inside the tank. I need to trace mine back to the source or cut and join as yours, keeping the connection waterproof. Thank you

Excellent video - we just had the same problem After watching your video - I got the pump out and flushed through with hot water then it worked right away. Also handy to find out about the fuse near the toilet cassette. Thank you

Many thanks Paul, this helped me find the cause of my Thetford's problem! I had no idea until now where to look for the pump and fuse and it turned out to be a corroded and blown fuse due to a stuck impeller. Got it going with a screwdriver and learnex a lot about my caravan's toilet :-)

Mine is exactly the same. I've just had 5 weeks at Thornwick Bay with it not working. I didn't drain down the fluid from the previous outing and it has probably gunged up. Now that I know where to find the pump, I'll have a go and I'll make my own video. Thanks for sharing this information.

I had the exact same problem with the same style toilet, pulled it out sprayed some wd40 and used a screw driver to get it moving. Filled the toilet up with hot water and bleech over night, replaced the rubber seals and about to give it a coat of ceramic paint, hopefully it will look a lot better.

Hi, I've replaced the fuse and the pump on mine and it still does nothing? The flush button clicks. Any ideas?

If you can use a multimeter check power is getting to the pump, if not then check at the fuse also check the fuse on the zig / 12v distribution unit

What amp was the fuse pal, I'm heading to my caravan the weekend and want to bring fuse with me

When I lifted the toilet roll holder out everything was submerged in water. Am I right in thinking that there shouldn’t be any water in there at all?

Yes it should be full, this is your holding tank, you need to drain this down / empty. Open the door outside and on either the left or the right you should see a plastic see through tube, you will see some water inside as this is you level for the holding tank. You need to pull it from the top and face it down and the eater will empty

Thank you! The previous owner filled the flush system with blue liquid instead of pink and it’s made a right mess! I’m hoping if I drain it out and clean/replace the pump that’ll sort things out.

I did not drain mine, just unscrewd the pump bracket and pulled out the pump and bracket together and nothing leaked on my c2.. Took some effort to break the impeller free...it is working now. A big thank you to this video.
