“Sewn Sling Chair” is a name I think describes the type of seat I repaired for my patio chair. I could not find any name or video of the type of patio chair I repaired so I made this video. I think I saved about $750 by repairing the 4 chairs. Drilling 22 holes in each of the 4 steel framed chairs was the hardest part. Each hole took about 40 seconds to drill. Since I do not have a sewing machine and even if I did I, could not figure out how I would sew the fabric under tension, I hemmed the fabric and fastened the plastic pipe hanging tape with UltraHOLD iron on adhesive to reinforce the fabric where it would be screwed onto the frame with wood screws and washers.
