Very good! I believe the original parts can last 30 new years after a fix, but new parts nearly never last as long

It's been working since, replaced the heater core this summer.
Those fans are (were) dealer replace, "Not" dealer repair. The old ones the dealer replaced either got tossed or ended up at the flee market.

I did not replace the fan motor. I guess that's why I didn't work long at the stealer!

@@vanstechcorral I rebuild everything on my cars, even when the original parts are available sometimes.
do you know if audis have fixed fan brushes that cant be replaced? u have a tt and seems like it cant be opened

You can often open even sealed units by using a dremel, a grinder or drilling out welds.
