You the man! For anyone else that has ended up here. Steps below. You will need a T6 "Star Bit" Remove the magnetic filter Remove the first 2x T6 screws (black) Remove the second stage stainless filter. Little tweak away from parallel to the main body and pull towards the end of the cord at the same time. Only clips hold it in place. Remove the next 2x T6 screws and remove the peice of body they secured. Sometimes labelled "A4" and has a black wire running under it. This reveals the contacts in the power swivel joint. Lift out the cord/swivel piece. Clean the contacts on the power lead swivel. Clean the stationary contacts on the device. Ideally, this is when you reapply a small amount of conductive paste, otherwise you could end up with poor contact and the same issue. Or worse, burn out the contacts. Reassemble, test and hopefully hand back to your partner. God speed fellas
