This method worked like a charm.I used the WD-40 spray to clean the motor using the tiny straw like exit of the can and pouring it inside on the axel and the motor fans.After letting it dry for a few hours I guess I didn't let it dry enough because it still made some smoke but after giving it a few spins it stopped producing sparks and smoke.Now it works like brand new product.Awesome clip!

Assembling and disassembling - 100%, fixing smoke problem - 5%. Description of the video is far more useful than the video itself :)

the copper inside the motor may be contacted badly so it was making fire burn your step to put screwdriver inside the motor at 1:49 helps me. after cleaning it is still burning then I stretched the copper plates then It works fine without burning anymore.

Well done, you can also deep the motor in a little cup of Thinner for a few minutes, then you spin the motor shaft while in the thinner. Afterwards take the motor to outside and let it dry naturally by the wind and evaporate. The thinner becomes black cause it removes the excess of burnt carbon.

I merged the motor with thinner found all carbon is moved out from motor. Now the motor works perfectly. Thanks!

@@pretotzkie4031 I have used only paint thinner, but make sure to completely let the motor dry at outside wind, to avoid fire or any short circuit

Yeah, but I love those little bosch drills -- not as pretty as makita 12v- in their black & white livery -- but I think I remember the little plastic Bosch chuck gripping small diameter drilling bits tighter than Makita or Milwaukee, - which made a difference to me when I was starting out......... I really don't want to come across like a bosch -boy, but even though my 12v is now smoking & I love the Milwaukee 12v range ...& there's a pair of 12v Makita's on offer on marketplace at the moment; I just can't help thinking of the bare 35n 12v Bosch combi w/ flexichuck bits for£182 at the mo..... 😅--- they just fit my hands & work so gently but well powerfully at the same time---- & don't get me started on their 12v small rotary saw....😂-- which is awesome and been around quietly for ages...
