Another problem is pin holes in roller blinds. Any tips please?

I have zebra style blinds with a slight tear on the transition section. Can a clear tape be used to repair it?

I have used thin double sided tape to repair the transition section in the past . it was not easy but I cut from one side of the blind to the other and then overlapped the fabric using the double sided tape to stick it together . it worked pretty well .
