Thanks for joining me as I work on the #topgunjonboat outboard motor cowl! In this video I document a quick restoration of the #outboard motor cowl for my #jonboattobassboat build. I'll show you the decal removal, prep work needed, application of product, product knowledge of all materials needed, new decal application, as well as a SWEET final result for my #boatrestoration !
Best part? All done for under 20 dollars! Could be done for under 10 but I applied new custom decals made by TBNation Decals.

Thanks, I like it mainly because it is a temporary solution and can be changed up unlike spray paint or any other DIY paint applications.

It’s probably made of grp ( glass reinforced plastic).
I soaked my Honda 15 cover in my kitchen sink with hot water and dish detergent. The stickers and paint came off in my hands, no sanding or heat guns needed. I was surprised.

Will the plasti dip hold up better than say a rustoleum rim paint?
How's the paint job holding up are there any signs of wear ?
Hi, just wondering why you chose to not paint the small part on cowling? The part where you used carbon fiber.
Hair dryer on high and a plastic razor (Ace Hardware) is what all professional vinyl guys use!
