at first i thought it was gonna look too tacky with those bright purples and pinks, but those big black eyes really balances it out. i guess you get a good idea of how strong the faceup should be, depending on which eyeballs you have in mind her expression is really bold and gentle, i look forward to seeing what you'll do with her body

Ikr. I want to buy a bjd but their eyes are so unrealistic, I love this.

She is so lovely. Personally I am in love with Lucywen's head like no other doll. I look at her and am deeply moved. I have never felt so strongly and so emotional about a doll's face before. I hope you grow to love her head too, and if you don't, that the head goes to someone who has fallen in love with her face. There are so many lovely Minifee heads that would look beautiful with the centaur body.

Out of all the dolls I’ve seen (repaints included), this specific doll in my opinion has the most beautiful face ever.😍I just ordered a 17” Monster High Draculaura doll to repaint & I’m already making a preview digital drawing using the basic outlines from this doll to accomplish a similar look.😊

Even though it can suck to make a mistake, you gave is a great example for the importance of proper sealing and showed that you don't need to be terribly discouraged if you do make a mistake. So thank you for keeping that part in the video :3 She turned out beautifully!

Yeah people forget that mistakes are common and normal even when you've done something for years and have plenty of experience with. I always get comments like "I am afraid to paint faceups because I may make mistakes" well I make mistakes all the time and they are unavoidable, so you either push past them or never get anything done.

Different companies offer different tones, yes. For Fairyland, besides the one shown here, they also offer a white shade and occasional tan (but that is event-only).

That doll is just gorgeous.

She’s so beautiful..The brown did make the eyes look softer but did not take anything away from them ,I also likes the purple you added to the eye area ,very pretty 😀

She looks so soft and gently, and I think the wig really brings out those features and looks beautiful on her.

I am a "Jack-of-all-trades" when it comes 2 crafting. I will work @ each craft until I understand what I am doing well enuff 2 reproduce the effects I want & finish with a project I can feel good about, then I will move on 2 the next part of the craft or 2 a new craft. I love crafting & often go back 2 crafts I have already done in the past 2 c if there is a way 2 improve it, add 2 it or even just pactice my skill with it & re-live the pleasure I get from loosing myself in each craft I have done, b it sock dolls, sewing, wood working, 3-D glue, whatever. I discovered these tutorials on KZread several months ago. THERE R SO MANY NEW CRAFTS OUT THERE! I'm so excited 2 try each of them. The 1 craft I am so attracted 2 ryt now is dolls. I have a small collection that isn't worth anything 2 anyone but me. Some r very inexpensive & poorly made porcelain dolls that have very bad wigs, makeup & clothing & I do want 2 try 2 upgrade them in2 a doll I will love always. Doll re-dos, up-dos, remakes, metamorphosis in2 fantasy creatures, theres just so much u can do & ur limited only by ur imagination. That truely fascinates me but I was raised that if something was worth doing, it was worth doing ryt the 1st time. That means head, hair, body, with or without a clay re-design, all have 2 b completed & made 2 look as if they all belong 2gether. The more tutorials I can find & watch on COMPLETE dolls re-dos, the better my chances 2 complete a quality doll on my own. Most Artists prefer 2 concentrate on just the faces & hair of the dolls & either skip over the body or just do a quick gloss over it without showing the details unless they r re-designing the body with clay, fabric, etc... I for 1 NEED that tutorial 2 help me acheive that cohesive look & not a Frankenstein's Monster unless, of course, that's the look I want. I love these tutorials from u & ur fellow Artists, please keep up the great, awe inspiring work. Please teach me how 2 created a doll I will love 4-ever & feel pride in displaying &/or selling. I love ur work & even tho I can't match ur skill as an artist, I can share the joy in the creating of each doll. Thank u 4 all the driving motivation 2 try this craft, I can't wait 2 get started!

Gorgeous work! I like the combo of natural with the slightly glamour eyeshadow. I am so happy to see pink lips! So many companies and faceup artists go to either browns or corals/orange for natural lips and I really prefer pink for natural girls and soft pink-toned browns for guys. +NoSoundAllEcho I actually bought my doll straight from Fairyland who makes the doll :) It is faster that way since the doll only needs to travel from Korea to Australia compared to Korea to USA to Australia. DDE is a great retailer when you need layaway or if you are located in the USA :D

There is no shop like that in Australia either. The only way to purchase one is online via the shop linked in the description or on the second hand market.
