That's like any other toys when you repaint them and you look at the repaint one out of all the others this one looks different

I think it’s really interesting when people take figures and doll and shit and repaint them to look more accurate to their characters. Very satisfying. You even added the little hair tufts😄

You would think if they are gonna mass produce these, they would at least get the correct shade of green. He looked more like Shrek green before you painted.

I work in the design industry and executives always want stuff to be super colorful or saturated to “pop” off the shelf. It’s annoying, but I bet that’s what happened with this toy

Or use an accurate mould. The Grogu in the show has way deeper rimples and a different nose.

@@SteamHyenaz of course, but the mould exists, why not just copy that mould? Why sculpt something new entirely?

I have a nephew in the hospital who absolutely loves this little creature. I'm not familiar with the lure or anything of the sort. I have seen pictures of the character and yours by far is the most accurate I've seen. Do you remake these for sale? I'm sure you're very busy but I would be very interested in purchasing one from you for him. If not, I understand completely. Thank you for your time.

@@nefff999 Two things strike me as funny here. For starters, there's still people who call him "Baby Yoda," even after the show gave him an actual name: Grogu. He isn't even Yoda in the first place! Second, it _is_ lore that Joe is referring to. Whenever someone is talking about the story and the characters within a story, they're talking about the lore. Joe is saying he doesn't know much about Grogu and the lore behind him, just that his nephew loves him (I don't blame him lol). Joe, if you're reading this, I hope for the best of luck for your nephew. May he have a speedy recovery, and may the Force be with him.

It’s a little weird because the toy’s face doesn’t really look like Grogu but your repaint is so accurate

What an amazing transformation! I was watching Book of Boba Fett this week and looking at my Mattel Grogu yesterday just thinking...he at least needs some hair. Great work as always!

Just picked one up to try and copy your transformation for my nephew. I’m a beginner with an airbrush, so I need to ask you what that attachment was early in your process that allowed for the paint to speckle instead of mist. Also would love to know which colors/brands of paint you were using. I’m just hoping mine doesn’t turn out looking like FrankenGrogu 😂 Although, that might actually be a pretty cool take on this now that I say it… 🧐
