I think she's one of those cool rich kids that hang out with nerds too. Haven't seen the show so I don't know if there are these stereotypical groups of teenagers but that's how she looks to me 😅

I'd love to see rainbow high eyes covered over with apoxie sculpt and new eyes sculpted on top. I think that could give more range than the current sculpts allow for.

Question: when you remove the eyes, can you leave them out for the repaint, seal and THEN reheat head to pop back in? Or do I need to add back the eyes before the repaint starts? I’m using testors for the first layer and subsequent layers so I can add my watercolor but the final sealing will be with mod podge matte.

uhhh ive seen people do this but putting the eyes back in for me was so hard that i couldnt imagine not damaging the faceup putting them in afterwards. ive never heard of someone sealing a faceup with modge podge, kinda curious how that would work out. good luck!

Go see moon light jewel on this series. She did something really interesting. She remove the eye, remove the inside eye design completely, then make her own eye but on the old eye mold, and pop it back in. Sound very close to something you describe above. It was interesting how she reuse the eye mold but made her own eye.

Love how everything came together(those eyes!!) Definitely want to try a junior high doll some time, it seems like they have nice proportions. I've filled in rainbow high doll's eyes with apoxie before to paint on top of, but painting over the inset eyes seems much simpler! I'd like to try it sometime!

thank ya! oh i definitely think the junior high dolls are adorable. the size is just so cute on them. ooo ive seen people paint on top of apoxy, sort of curious to try that. painting on the inset eyes was definitely a tiny bit weird at first but while ya build up the layers it works out pretty similarly to painting on monster high or a doll without inset eyes.

Not me going to blow on the screen to blow away the pastel dust-

She looks so good. I think the black shading in the eye was a little too harsh, it covered up the beautiful blend you did. Maybe a dark gray would have been better. But otherwise I really loved the faceup.

I can't help but cringe everytime I see/hear/read the word Euphoria due to my curiosity taking me to real dark graphic novel games (and also fountain pens of that same name from BENU). I looked up the show a bit and yep, it is not for me, and the aesthetic is just *chefs kiss* great work! She looks great and her eyes are my favorite part.
