I know exactly what you mean! *_nervous sweating_* O.O Ok fine she would light me and my home on fire if she saw the state of my bookshelf at the moment- Im a serious bookworm tho and having my shelves like this makes me cringe omg And i might have some OCD Mk bai

I can't be the only one who puts the most aesthetic books on the eye-level shelves so that my videos always look nice when the rest of my shelves are a hot mess

It looks so great! I prefer bookshelves that incoorperate decor with horizontally lined books and vertically stacked books. Great job! I'm planning on filming my bookshelf video soon - mine has lots decor (since I have less books hahah) and I loved how it turned out!

I got all of my bookshelves from Ikea! :D

I know what being short is like... sigh. It's tough. I have a step ladder to reach my top shelf...and even that's a stretch. haha. I'd love to record myself rearranging my shelves but I don't have the manoeuvrability to do so...:/ but it's definitely a fun task, and kind of therapeutic, don't you think? :)

When several books are stacked, the tendency is that over time the weight of those on top will tweak those below. The spines are aligned, but the leaves usually do not. The first book is the one that suffers most. If you still want to do that don't put more than 3 or 4.

I put the horizontal ones that way to save space and because I don't really like them so it doesn't need to be convenient for me to take out and stuff. I guess it doesn't matter to me since I don't like the book😂

how would they get tweaked, surely if anything having books on top will keep them in the permanent position of straightness, as opposed to having them vertical where they can be squeezed and altered more easily?
