Love the videos. You make things easy on. People. Can you do a video on NVR compatibility’s with several cameras? Whether you need that company’s NVR or whether you can use any NVR. Saving the video to a 1 terabyte hard drive would be great.

I have only had two of these cameras. For me they have been disappointing for three reasons. 1) I had to return one under warranty as it would not charge out of the box (there was no issue from Reolink on getting a replacement and they did try to problem solve the issue). 2) I hated the mount. The aerial seemed to get in the way of the locking nut. It was all very fiddly when I was up a ladder. 3) The solar panel usb connector which goes into the camera was very flakey. I would be up the ladder, asking my wife whether the little white sun (I think) was showing. Sometimes, as soon as I moved my hand off the connector, the symbol would go off. Other times, it would not show. I did think the connector did not go very deep into the camera. Another time, I thought I had cracked it. The symbol was on for weeks, until the battery went flat. It had not been charging. I sincerely hope others have had a better experience.

Excellent videos !! May I ask what camera/phone you are shooting these videos with, because the Quality is Excellent. I think I will be picking up a couple of these cameras.

Nice the motion range is a lot better! Wish they could do something on the Argus 2. Feels like I have a sports car that can only go 15 feet. Happy they kept the same solar panel option for it.

This camera actually do everything he says I received mine yesterday installed it and it’s very nice and the night vision is very good as well so if you want a security camera that actually works i would recommend this one more bang for the buck..

For Wifi cameras... Ring.. the video quality is not as good like others but it is a reliable system especially their "Wired" cameras.

Reolink cameras are of excellent quality and at very attractive prices. I buy here in Brazil directly in the brand store, I receive within an average of 1 month. The delay is due to the continental size of Brazil, I live in the center of the country.

Damn impressive for the price!!!

Great Video..Very informative! Can this camera still record if it’s outside the range of the WiFi to the SD card then pull the card to review? Like a trail camera?

Great video..very informative..If I was to get 2 or more of these cameras,would I be able to view each camera on the one screen? (similar to how you can see more than one person during a zoom video conference if it's more than 2 people in the meeting)

Thank you for the in-depth and user-friendly review. But i have one question. Will the camera record footage if the WIFI connection is disrupted and will i be able to access that footage when i renew the WIFI connection? I really looking forward to your answer. :)

I think the Reolink Eco would be my favorite at this time, followed by Arlo Pro 2, Blink XT then Ring stickup cam battery... Ring is better because of some zoning but it is subscription based.

Yes, Eco is a pretty good camera and doesn’t have the issue of limited detection like the other arguses.

It really depends on how much traffic that you need to isolate. Both cameras don't have zoning..so you have to dial down the sensitivity to a level that you will still get important alerts but minimize false notifications.

Hey hi there. I was wondering if you Know anything about the Eufycam I think by Anker. Have you done or are you thinking of doing it with you on this, I’m looking to get my set by this weekend. I was leaning towards the Arlo 4K but your review has recommended to wait on this so I was just thinking of getting the Arlo pro two or should I still hold off to see if they improve on the 4K not sure if it’s worth that price thanks again for any advice and help that you give us the videos are amazing

I haven't tested the Eufycam yet and I might check it out in the future. I'm not sure about the Arlo 4K if they fixed the issues. I just checked and they will re-release it this weekend. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to revisit and re-review this camera though.

I think the Eco is up there...it just needs some zoning and it will be a perfect battery powered camera.

Hi i liked the review just one question what about the battery life..do i need to charge the camera every 4 to 6 month or does it get charge automatically with solar panel....

I just set up a few argus eco cameras and they seem to work well but here is a question. I am set up on my laptop and on the reolink screen it shows the two cameras. You click a camera to wifi-connect it so you can look at the live stream. Then after a short time the connection closes so it doesn't burn battery power. So when there is motion detection it automatically turns back on and connects to record the video? thanks

Yes, you should be able to.

Can the Apps work on your phone and tablet when the internet is down? Thus powered only by the wifi on your local network router.

Nice video! One thing to improve on: how soon video is getting recorded from the moment motion is detected? I have an issue with my Argus 2 that it starts recording not fast enough. and then compare it to direct to SD and Direct to SD/to Cloud together

Excellent video. Does your home hub in doors have to be on the whole time and if the camera is outdoors will the wifi signal be picked up through the walls to outside. It appears the mobile becomes the interface so when away from the house and the home hub is turned off, can I still access the camera app. Thanks

Hey man nice review. I have the argus2 and hate the PIR on it. It will only trigger if someone is walking almost horizontally in the cameras view. If they are walking towards it misses a lot. Does the Eco have this issue?

How long is the battery life usually last before you recharge?

I just got mine in the mail today and I couldn't get it to connect to my wifi. I tried everything that was recommended on reolink's support page. Feelsbadman. edit: solution: I got it to work! Had to play around with the settings of my router. Good to go!

Sorry to hear that...make sure the camera is turned ON (toggle switch at the bottom of the camera where the micro SD card slot is) ..try resetting it and set it up again...if not, get in touch with Reolink...

Argus Eco, Arlo Pro 2 or Blink XT can be good choices for battery. For wired, I can recommend Sens8 or Yi outdoors. All have no subscriptions.

After having the argus 2 for about 3 years and eco about a year, I love both and am having trouble deciding which one I want to buy for my 4th and 5 camera( 2 argus 2 and 1 eco). I've never had an issue with t distance like you have had with the argus 2. The one I have on my front porch picks up my neighbor across the street mowing her yard and that about 40ft away. The eco does seem to reach out better but the argus 2 seems to have a better night time picture.

I have had mine for over a year and all three have quit recording videos. I have checked all the settings and the setting are correct. Their tech cannot seem to figure it out and I am ready to send all of them back.

i only have 4g on my phone during at work. so would it be ok for me to access livefeed of this camera which is based at home?

Do you think this would work better outside compared to the Wyze cam and does the connect to the tinycam app if you have multiple cameras with diff apps

I'm not sure about the tiny cam but it is more accurate in motion detection because it uses PIR sensor. The Wyze cam uses camera based detection and usually shadows, light or anything that moves in your designated zone will cause a motion alert.

The problem with the Eco is that you cannot position it toward the left at an angle as the protruding antenna goes up against the mount. I have to go find a cable extension that does not protrude as much. It should have an internal antenna or an extension should be included in the package

What have you found to be the best wireless cameras overall? I wanted to install POE cameras, but much of my attic is unaccessible.

As to wireless, the Argus Eco is up there with the Ring stickup cam, Arlo PRo2's. As to price, nothing beats the Eco at this time.

Can the live feed be accessed through the app from overseas?

Question about charging the Eco. If you not using the Solar panel to charge the camera, do you have to always remove the camera from the mount to charge the battery? Isnt this an negative issue?

You don't have to remove the camera. You will have access to the micro USB port on the back..but you will need to run either an extension cord or charge it via a power bank. If the battery is removable, you still need to climb up a ladder to remove and exchange the battery...so it can be a negative but not in my case which I am hooking it up with the solar panel which tops off the battery..

Can i use this camera only when i need it? I mean its not to be 24/7 live or rec .But it goes live or records when i want it? If im work or smt i dont need it working all the time at home. Im sometimes just take a look whats going on home. (by turn it on by the pohne app)

Hi spoke to you the other day about the camera been playing with it for a couple of days getting the settings alright and I have to say sorry I am happy with the camera now if I offend you sorry with what I said the picture quality is great it detects everything the only issue is when you talk through it could b e louder but that's neither ear or there. Sorry again you do a great job 2 all of your subscribers and people who are looking to buy this camera is great no mess no fuss just hang it up and that's it
