    Just got Renthal Cr high bend for my drz. They don’t look higher. The angle of the wrist looks weird. The pinky is higher than the thumb! I haven’t installed them yet because idk if that’s a good bend for me. Any suggestions? They are fat bars so I have the adapter for them too. Just looks weird with the ends so high.

    Heya! Trying to raise the height on my FZ07 bars. Looking at Motech risers, but would prefer taller bars as opposed to risers. Not alot of info on stock rise/sweep vs aftermarket offerings. Unsure if Renthal Street High do the trick. Pro Taper? Lil help? Thanks in advance!

    As much as I wish we had some data to provide, you're right, this information is not really published anywhere. I'd recommend taking a measuring tape to your existing handlebars and mimic the specs that are provided by Renthal and Pro Taper. The Renthal Street High do sound like a good choice but as you mentioned, you'd really want to compare them to your stock set up. Best of luck! -TeamZilla Chris

    I'm considering replacing the TC bros drag bar I bought which is way to low on my FZ-07 and also I can feel the vibrations way more than the stock bar. Thinking about getting a low or ultra low but it's difficult to get an idea about how it will look without seeing it in person near or on the bike.

    I'm hoping these won't translate vibrations as much and I'm hoping that the low or ultra low will make my shoulders not hurt. but still give me the position that I like that gives me more control.

    I believe your stock bar height is 143mm, and all the Renthal Twinwall bars have a shorter height, so you'll have to decide what change you're looking for. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/renthal-twinwall-handlebars-1-18

    I'm looking to getting some for an ER6f/Ninja 650 my only worry is that I've heard the inner diameter is to small for factory bar ends or aftermarket bar end mirrors, do you know if this is true or if it has been changed?

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    5 жыл бұрын

    That is correct. For the most part, accessories made for OEM bars and accessories made for aftermarket bars won't work together. OEM bars tend to be threaded for OEM equipment, whereas everything else is hollow. Aftermarket bars can be made of other materials too, most commonly aluminum, which has a different ID. So I would factor in needing new bar ends at least. If you're looking to get bar end mirrors as well, you can just mount them to the bar itself (rather than messing with adapters). That way the end is free for a weight or slider. -Kraus-e

    Thanks for the reply mate, gives me some options to think about, I never thought of trying to put the mirrors over the bars. I expected to have to use them as a replacement for bar end weights as they come with the fitting attachment with the expanding rubber bushing.

    If your stock handlebar is 1 1/8" at the clamping area, then you do not need any accessory besides the proper hand tools. If your stock handlebar is 7/8" at the clamping area, then you would need to get 1 1/8" risers to match the 1 1/8" diameter of the Twinwall bars at the clamping area. -DrewZilla

    I have an 05 SV650, The stem doesn't have mounts as the bike comes with clip on's. I'm interested in putting the 7/8's medium or high bend street bars on her and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on which method to go with or if you would recommend keeping the clip ons? Option 1.) Buy some risers and drill the stem to install them and the bar Option 2.) Buy risers and weld them to the stem

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    7 жыл бұрын

    If you have clip-ons and your top triple clamp isn't drilled for risers, then your bike is probably an SV650S. The SV650N "Naked" came with risers and an upright handlebar. The cheapest/easiest thing for you to do would be to just buy a used drilled top clamp and risers for an SV650N. Alternately, you could just get riser clip-ons (we sell Woodcraft) or Converti-Bars (which we don't carry). -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-riser-clip-ons-with-78-bars

    If all modern road bikes need holes drilled in the bars…and renthal doesn’t allow drilling. Then these are essentially a waste of time for the road.
