Mix equal parts rock salt & white vinegar add some dish soap (it causes it to stick) and spry the lower rocks. Once it dies just brush away. All algae and moss will go away and it will keep it from growing back. You’re changing the surface Ph factors. Will not harm the environment either!

It might be helpful for you to watch today's episode (June 9) of Brady & Heather on Raising Voyagers . They are renovating an old stone house built against a mountain in Italy and also have water intrusion problems. He put in a modified French drain covered with gravel and cement. Good luck!

Sergi`s face when you asked him for help i think he knew what you were going to do bless him. He is amazing and he agreed straight away. The floor will look amazing. Better to do the floor and think about the lower wall with the water issue. maybe ask advice of neighbour as they may have similar thing at their property. You could have say a wooden removable structure in the shape of a lower step all around the damp part and just put this against the wall. you could paint it with a design to look lovley then periodically to check the moss situation you could just pull it away from the wall easily and push it back into place. but to be honest it doesnt look horrible as it is and at least you can stand your cupboard and cooker close to the wall.

I’m glad supervisor Cheri was there to make sure everything was done correctly. 🐶 is it possible to add in the center of the floor a circle design of rocks that Cheri has brought home? Sergi, if you believe her, I have some land I'd like to sell you after the tide goes out!!! You have a generous heart Sergi! One day, I will join the channel to find that Alla has decided to add another floor to the house! Lol! They should have put in a french drain when they were building the house. The hill behind the wall is always going to seep water. To tear down the wall and correct it would be very expensive, time consuming, and a real mess. Bummer!

There is a drain and a trench to remove excess rainwater. The water that seeps through the wall is planned into the system.

Concrete dust in a kitchen isn’t good. He may have wanted to wait but it’s healthier to do it now. 💕

I just looked at one of my favorite webcams (Over looks the pool at the Grand Hotel Tremezza)... Alla & Sergi... wow, you can't get a break from the rain... Seems it's been mostly raining since late October, including the early November floods... It will average our eventually. Just think of how much sunshine must be coming your way.

Sergi knows when you ask with that polite bossy voice he is like uh-oh what does she want now. Sergi when my husband is doing something and is into it. He hates when I pull him away to do a job for me. Otherwise he doesn’t mind.

Hello Darling, I think you mU want to just ,especially ot simp.e a d paint so e lime wash in the remaining lower stones....it will be white...then you can see what's realy going on with the season changes..it's fast, cheap and stops all the alge...brush on lime putty...

When will you finish the indoor kitchen? I would be more anxious to get that done.

Won't the cooker be better nearer the sink wall this would give you more room for floor cupboards this gives more pen space for the centre of the kitchen?
