Good morning Iwan, sometimes cats get stressed when having changes around them and can express it in different ways. I don't know if you know Feliway. I use the plug in pheromones diffuser. They have different products to adjust to the cats needs. I use the Optimum, and I notice the difference. When it finishes Max 🐈 gets more irritating and bothers little Lucy. Options for the space under the worktop: 1) build a new cupboard with door for extra storage out of sight, with the new shelving, maybe you wouldn't have enough closed storage. 2) build a new cupboard, cut out a cat door in the actual cupboard door, and keep the cat's litter box out of sight, and they will have their privacy. You can install a shelf to keep some of the cats cleaning gadgets. 3) you can build a cupboard with a draw out to install recycling bins. There are different bin sizes. By the way, I love the tap!

Dont get texcure in the kitchen it will get nastybfrom all the cooking. It is best to get paint, which is good for steam etc in the kichen

It’s looking fantastic. If I was you I would use the off cut of worktop to either make a shelf where you have the tools or a chopping board.

Dilly (declutterdolies)has just had a plaster effect wall done by her husband, in her dining/kitchen area it’s navy and stunning 😍. I’m sure it can be done in all colours. Renovations are looking great, well done.

Maybe have the spare worktop on slide outs under the existing worktop to give yourself some extra counter top if you need it at times.

The kitchen is progressing well,it sounds like you had a nightmare. Hopefully things will settle down, and work will finish soon. I hope Pumpkin is fully recovered it's so worrying when they are unwell.

Definately keep the laminate. I keep 1 extra boxes of flooring.. thank god! Things happen eg my tiles cracking due to vibrations from a building site nearby.. so can get the broken tiles replaced. Texture in kitchen on wall is hard to clean.. all the fat and dust will stick on the texture. If you do do texture, make sure you use a wipeable paint. Remember IKEA for small kitchen gagets etc.. I have a pull out bin under my sink.. just cut a bit out to fit around the pipes. Also pull out runners to put on shelves to make access to thinks in deep shelves easier ie. Makes it more like a draw. Fun vlog. Kitchen looking great.

Thank goodness you got him to the vet quickly. Once when I had 2 kittens and they play fought alot one got very sick and only after much searching of his body was a small puncture wound where the other had bitten a bit too hard

Sorry to hear your kitty wasn't well. Glad he's doing better now ❤ Maybe the left over cupboard could have the laminated work top on it. Making it extra storage. Or even to put shoes in. The top can hold plants or place to sit as you out your shoes on

We are always on edge when our pets are not well, must have been lovely when he recognised you. Tap is amazing don't bother trying to hide the heat setting, you will draw more attention to the tiny tab if you try to cover it up. You should buy a larger roller for painting, only £4.99 in HB and you will get the job done quicker and less work too. Great video with advice for anyone doing a similar job..

Wondering if Pumpkin is stressed out with the renovations? Bless his heart ❤️ with the off cut maybe a small side table? You can get inexpensive hairpins legs in all different heights. As long as you can screw into that material. Maybe a cat table in front of a window so the kittens can look out a window.

They off cut of the cabinet looks like it could be a coffee table or maybe if you have room at the end of your bed as a bench, or somewhere else as a bench…TV stand even. Glad your roof is fixed finally too. Maybe one of the counter off cuts could be used on a small table somewhere or on the end of your sofa in the loft as a table top, or if you have an ottoman and want a table top for it…maybe add handles and wood to it to add support (frame and back with wood). Looking forward to seeing more completed renovation work.

I remember when our kitchen was being renovated. Lots of work, messy, and very chaotic. All worth it now. We have marble work tops, too. We chose black sink and taps, yours looks gorgeous 😍

I love watching your videos and I'm so happy to hear pumpkin is feeling better ❤... Home renovations can be so stressful but I'm sure you are going to love it when it's completed. Just a suggestion but I would think again about a textured paint in the kitchen... Kitchens obviously have a certain amount of grease and food splashes from cooking, if you have texture on your walls, especially by the hob then It's going to be extremely difficult to clean any splashes or grease from the walls, maybe a wipe clean paint would be a better idea.

Wow the kitchen is looking so good. The colour called setting plaster by Farrow & Ball (matched at B&Q of course 😉) would be gorgeous and the pinky tone with the green cabinets would look fab. I know what you mean about the texture but maybe a flat lime wash rather than texture would be less of a hassle and easier to clean? Anyway whatever you do will be fab I'm sure. Loving Sort your life Out. Top notch tv.

Never thought of that, my cat got ill a few years ago after Fireworks, I always stay in with him as he gets so scared but he got a bladder infection which vet says is common with stress, something I never knew and I've had cats all my life.

So pleased to hear Pumpkin is now nack to bouncing around and fit and healthy. How worried you must have been. You renovations are beautiful, you have really chosen stunning choices of colours and products. Fabulous tap by the way. I watch every vlog you make and enjoy watching them. You are so talented. Give Pumpkin and Mittens a big cuddle, just love Tabby cats they're the best 😻😻

Love the kitchen, my kitchen is painted in setting plaster ( a dupe for the farrow and ball colour and I love it) I love your idea of a texture though. Pink definitely makes a kitchen feel cosy!! I'm loving your kitchen tap and am looking forward to the end result. Pumpkin appears to be gulping his water which may mean he's still a bit under the weather. If he continues to be thirstier than usual u should mention it to his doc. I know your home renovation is going to be beautiful.

We used our off cuts of laminates to make a set of three shelves above the coffee area to house tea/coffee/sugar etc. they were similar to the floating shelf concept

Per the shelves: Maybe they would work in the office. You can hang them higher on the wall (upside down from what I saw on the floor), put a piece of wood under the open area for another shelf and put books on display on the bottom shelf and pretty bits and bobs on the top. Just a suggestion. They can be painted to match your walls. They are nice pieces none the less. Enjoy your reno... that TAP is just gorgeous!!!

OMG thank goodness little man's ok now. Could be a bit stressed by what's going on, cats hate disruption. What a worry for you. I can't stand it when our fur babies are poorly. You should have roped Rob (SYLO) in to do your kitchen😉 I don't know how you're still sane with everything that's going on, I get my knickers in a knot when things are upside down lol. LOVE the tap, it is stunning and looks extremely expensive too. The end result is going to be gorgeous. The floor tiles look good, as you say, just replace where needed. It's getting there Mr.C🥰
