I forgot this was a "series" tbh, its almost become second nature, Cleetus Mcfarland and the Freedom Factory are one in the same basically now. Crazy to think how far you've come.

These are my favorite videos. You created an amazing establishment that creates jobs for your friends, family, and the public. You're living the American dream while sharing it with friends. That is rare these days. You can tell that whoever works at the freedom factory enjoys it so much that I don't think they consider it work but play. Congrats on everything Garret, & most of all marrying the coolest girl. Maddi is such a doll. I hope this continues for as long as you want it to. Who knows, in the future, a mini giraffe will take over and my kids will be following your kids continue your legacy. You are absolutely correct. If he's smart (and we all know he is) then he would put everyone on a profit sharing program or provide a pathway to ownership for them like for instance at their one year anniversary they automatically get some stock or profit sharing percentage. That kind of thing really helps to cement their feeling of belonging and ownership.

race crew and the track crew are putting in AMAZING work. Cleet i know its a HUGE relief to be able to count on all the guys and helps you focus on everything else. no need to follow anyone around or worry.

From an old neglected former speedway, to a plae that is turning out to be very special indeed. You've done a great thing getting all this together Cleeter.

Letting your crew shoot more at the freedom factory would be cool. Im sure they encounter random things that would be perfect on the second channel.

Man, I am so proud of the guys. Constant renovation all over the property, all while staying on top of maintenance. We have the best team and the MOST AMAZING fans around! The support we receive from you all is greatly appreciated!

Huge respect for someone who does the handywork no one cares about but matters so much. And putting them on camera for credits, that's golden. Passing on the message about the WHOLE team, not just the few, it just really brings everything together. Then hoping the Freedom Factory can bring in more attention so crazy shit is not so hard to pull off. You know, the pool of Vics will eventually run dry :P Makes me think that opportunities like this might be good to pull in interns and spot talent in mechanics, bodywork or whatever.

Ok... So a few guys get together and buy an old run down race track. They put every penny they can, blood, sweat and tears into it and are making an amazing Freedom Factory out of it with amazing shows and events. Congratulations guys. The paint makes the track look so professional! Watching the time-lapse of the desoto speedway getting painted over symbolises it truly becoming the Freedom Factory. Must feel good to work for you seeing your boss get so pumped and grateful for your hard work 👌

WOW!!! I was not expecting that. I had the same reaction. It just pops more and it looks new. I just wish we could repave the track but I know that is massive cost because it can't be normal asphalt. Also I would put clear vinyl on the bathroom stalls so when people DO write on it you can just peel it and put up a new sheet of vinyl wrap on it.

The amount of progress you guys have made on the Freedom Factory is fantastic. The place looks incredible, and it makes me happy that the spirit of the old Desoto Speedway will live on for decades to come. I've been wanting to see the walls and track lines painted for a long time, and it really puts a finishing touch on what has become a first class facility that anyone would be proud to visit or race at. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride, I absolutely love these track renovation videos.

The list of people I want to see win in life is small. But this guy right here, he just takes that cold and bitterness away anytime I see him doin his thang improving random things. I've lost so much free time in my life, I had to change how I use my time. But, I will always have time to watch a Cleetus video after work, and leave a like and comment so KZread will notice him. As a short track racer from Florida seeing a racetrack be brought back to life and given what it needs is so satisfying to watch. Great job man the place looks incredible

I just want to thank you for the Freedom Factory. If it wasnt for Vice Grip Garage I wouldn't know anything about your facility. But for the last 2 years my son and I have spent our only 2 vacations ever at the Freedom Factory. Thank you for for the opportunity.

This is exactly how I discovered this channel. It was the beginning of COVID I think, and his purchase of the Freedom Factory popped up as a recommended video. I found it super interesting. Slowly, I went back through old videos and learned the history of Leroy and Ruby. It’s absolutely insane the amount of work that has gone into restoring and maintaining this track. Remember when he installed the sod? That feels like forever ago. He had like two employees, James and Coop, when this all started. God knows how many ppl are on payroll now. I wish I was born with the same drive and determination.

@@warrenmichael918 track isn't asphalt it's concrete and like 1 foot deep of it, doubt it honestly will be done anytime in the next 2 years. it will be a many multi million dollar project. when 316 quoted him they said 2 million and nothing goes as planned so i'd be willing to bet more like 4 or 5....

I'll be honest. I can't wait till the entire track gets new asphalt. The track is going to just look like a million bucks. Love the walls.

It might just cost a million bucks with new asphalt too, hahaha! I doubt a full new surface will happen anytime in the next 10 years, while the patches & partial fixes can do the job for a fraction of the cost. Once all the other infrastructure is renovated, and the large repairs are ready to get replaced, is when i see a whole new surface getting looked at, and with that probably re-leveling the foundation underneath & all that too.

Cleet the Freedom Factory crew deserves a raise! They crushed the makeover!

Good man putting money earned back into the business for a legacy! Something special that has passed over the years. Keep sending it and we will be down to visit and support it here in the meantime.

And all of that accomplished in just a little over two years by some KZreadr almost entirely during the worst of COVID.

Amazed at the walls, didn't think it would make that much of a difference. Gotta say Cleetus has done some great things for the sport of short track racing, he's revived some interest in the sport among us younger guys.

Love how you treat your employees. Keep that up tell them how proud you are of them and they will keep preforming at their best.

This is really awesome to see all that hard work and pride put in to the FF. We have an old track near us in N Cali called Altamont Raceway, I would love it if someone could do the same here. Great job guys!! 🦅🇺🇸

Cleet literally has like the best life. Lives in an awesome state that is literally a vacation destination. Owns a race track that he is constantly making amazing, and literally has fun every single day driving awesome vehicles, driving jet boats down awesome looking rivers around Florida. Mudding in mud trucks, racing dirt track at Bristol, has awesome drag cars and goes to drag events all the time. I would love to have the life this guy has. He's got it all to keep a man more then happy and loving life.

Its really amazing what you've built. You've taken an abandoned track, brought it back to life, and gave people a place to have fun. you built a hell of a team that gets things done the right way and you can count on, not just at the Freedom Factor but in the garage as well. Nicely done.

That looks killer, good job everyone! Man if the track itself just had a fresh coat of sealer to make it all the same shade of black It would really look newly built. I'd love to see the OG aerial "before" picture compared to one now...Congrats on breathing new life back into that track Garrett I used to frequent Desoto back in the 70's & 80's and it looks so much better now as The FF!

Love these racetrack restoration vids! Its so interesting and neat to watch you guys transform it into the badass track that it is today! ps, would love to see more in depth hauler vids (like when you guys travel to the different races)

I cant wait to see the track get repaved. Or imagine if he splurged and went all concrete for the track (not sure if that's even possible, but woukd look amazing) . It's amazing how invested I feel and haven't ever gotten the chance to visit the track.

I've been watching so long I feel the same way, just how much it has grown in the last couple of years is totally amazing!

You know some hard work is being done when the time lapse music kicks in, don't ever change it!

I f**king love this video. That folks is what happens when you have a good leader. Your people are/feel empowered to help make those decisions and want to put in the extra time and effort, because they believe in you. Cleet, been riding w/you guys forever, keep it up brother.
