Great vid chap 😎 All those months spent in your secret volcano lair have paid off 😁 Thats a pretty good price considering its a fairly well known brand 👍 TBH i don't find the capacity all that surprising, my 280Ah EVE cells gave 285 when new and 2 years later still manage 283Ah, Renogy must be using decent cells AND have a QC system in place. A Chinese company with QC is shockingly good 😂

I was a little apprehensive given some trust pilot reviews but this is a good battery. I paid 359.99 after applying their code and got an extra 50 off for using PayPal credit..

@DCGUY how are you finding the app ? It's certainly less clunky than it was, I haven't had to re Install it for a while, when it first came out it was woefull 😟 I use it for my SCC and BtoB.

Looking at the APP, 05:26 it shows MIN: 24.7'F and MAX 25.6'F (Looks like Fahrenheit not Centigrade)

You have grade A cells that don't keel over at low SOC due to rising I.R, is my take, good buy if typical.

wow thats very deep, sure to cause some degredation if its always cycled that low, can you porgram the BMS? doubt to the app lets you? maybe with Win PC? id say 10.8v at minimum to protect your investment

There is no way to make changes to the BMS parameters, I wouldn't like to take the battery to such a low SOC personally either.

I am looking to buy this battery for under the swivel seat of my t6.1 is it any good? Worth £409

To date I don't care for the DC Home APP. Seems to be hit or miss As for the retail price I still feel the fogstar are the best value for money to date. Li Time are another brand to watch but they generally lack features so are priced accordingly. I'm tearing the renogy down and will upload my findings when completed. When choosing a battery for under seat use its always wise to take measurements while the seat is occupied to ensure no inadvertent contact is made with battery terminals etc.

Only mention as you'd be surprised how many think the battery has to be upright like lead acids do. 😁

my guess is not the bms took 3 2.7v cells but the internal voltage sensor sensed 2.7 that momment it shuted... due to electronics direct sense less voltage drop

I was initially thinking the bms would stop when a single cell hit 2.7v now I know it's overall battery voltage that dictates cut off

I thought the BMS would stop when a single cell hit 2.7V but as you saw it waited until it hit 10 volts which is very low and not great for cell lifespan,

I Believe its a 5 year prorated warranty on workmanship and materials. I payed £359.99 after using the discount code BATTPRO100 that was active as of 15th Nov 2023 and I got an additional £50 credit for using PayPal Credit. So I saved £90.00

360 US for the Pro version. Can probably do better. Li Time for 280, for example. Will Prowse has a new teardown video today on 2 of theirs.

Yes Li time seem to be putting out some decent batteries but the prices here in the UK are steep. The Litime Mini for example is £370.00 and $279 US

@@DCGUY that's quite a difference. 100 Amp Eco- Worthy lfp's are $235 US. Lithium iron phosphate are as cheap as AGMs if you don't need low temp protection or bluetooth.

ALSO, warranty between 0-12 Months no charge for Replacement After 12 Months Original Purchase Price ×（1 - Remaining Warranty Period (in Months）/ Total Warranty Period (in Months) = price x (remaining) / (60 months (5 years)
