AUTO FANATICA | RENAULT SCENIC | REVIEW 2019 | (2015) | I had to admit a french car ain't bad
DISCLOSURE I've never liked french cars. The more reviews I do they I've found out that every manufacturer has it's good and bad. All have made mistakes and most have brought something worth adopting to the car industry.
This Scenic may not be pretty to look at (in my opinion) but otherwise does everything else pretty well. The 1.5 DCi is actually a pretty good diesel and has been adopted for many different vehicles now. The interior was up to standard if a little lacking in storage space and it's road credentials were nothing exciting but still above average.
I couldn't simply write the Scenic off as another bad french car. I still wouldn't buy or drive one myself but I walked away from my time filming with a newfound respect for the car.
Pros: good engine, above average interior, better than expected luggage capacity
Cons: looks are love\hate, nothing special to make it stand out
