I just about shit myself when the noise of the wiper went over the frozen screen !! Thot what the f was that ?? Keep up the good work, I did couple of hours today changing rear discs and pads on neighbours bmw. A bit of pocket money !!

Great video again. I have a shitty puriel that had nearly dead injectors. I replaced all 4 and has run fine for months without coding in. Does it make that much difference?

Thanks mate. The coding isn’t always that important, some cars will run pretty much fine without it. Some won’t. It’s just a calibration code that’s all

Thanks but why these injectors fail in their piezoelectric part ? Just after completed the 5yr warranty time, with only 21,000 km , 2 diesel injectors failed in 6 months on my Duster. No fuel issue.

No , always use EKO AVIO Diesel or SHELL V Power diesel. Lots of 1.5 dci face same problem , so is not a fuel issue, is low quality product issue

I didn't code mine and lost a few mpg but otherwise it ran OK. It wasn't cheap to get it coded.

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Sorry. I was just commenting it wasn't cheap (when I enquired) so I just changed the injector and ran it like that. When I realised it was losing only a few mpg and I wasn't doing big mileages anyway any thoughts of getting it coded went out of my mind.

Yea a bit of rust there. The coding is just a calibration code. The tolerances on these things are so tiny that they can’t make them exactly the same. My understanding is that when they are manufactured, they are tested for exact flow rate and the code is just a reference for the ecu to know the minute specific difference of that injector to another one if you know what I mean. It ran seemingly fine without it coded in, but had a bit of diesel knock and sounded like one injector was leading. Coding it just fine tuned and smoothed it out. Some cars will self fine tune after a few miles anyway.

French always like to be different and count backwards and therefore cylinders are numbered so . 🥖. Or just when sat in the LHD version you can kind of understand their logic
