Renault Kwid Engine and Transmission: Renault offers the Kwid with two BS6 engines: 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre. While the former is offered only with a manual gearbox, the 1.0-litre variants get both 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT. The 0.8-litre variants produce 54PS and 72Nm, while the output of the 1.0-litre variants stands at 68PS and 91Nm.
Renault Kwid Features: It gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry, a reverse parking camera, manual AC, and a 12V charger for rear passengers.
Renault Kwid Safety: Standard safety features include rear parking sensors, a driver side airbag, and ABS with EBD.

Mene bechni hai kwid rxt 1000 cc 2017 model 1st owner DL number hai sirf 43000 chali or CNG bhi lgi hui hai cng on RC hai 35 plus average hai cng me or jabardast pickup and chilled ac CNG me bhi bilkul saaf clean car.

Hello sir What would you suggest for my Kwid Climber Car AMT which has three modes N, R and D mode . when the car is parked in the garage? If hand brake is engaged, in what gear to engage, N,R or D? Or can it be parked only on R or D without hand brake?

It doesn't roll back fully so it's normal in kwid
This car is good, smooth driving manual gear is good and cluth and accrelation is good, go for it

Only people in the comment section complain about the oil sump. Have no encountered any real issues. I have driven my 2016 kwid in north east states (rocky roads) all the way to Myanmar and Nepal too but had no such issue. Its made of very durable plastic that doesn't break on normal usage

Never buy this car .... Buy 1l engine option.. if required... Ride n handling is a headache in 800cc but a better in 1000cc .. but both same.. 67hp output that says NO . Same for triber engine... Buy a good cc engine for a better longevity.. Renault in Kolkata have a better customer service compared to Maruti (the wrost)... Don't consider even .. better buy Toyota batch maruti giving better warranty n customer care... Highway stable around 60-90km/hr.. Adequable midrange output 😊...

@@nimitadevi8741 No, didn't go for it, as it's a 3 cylinder engine. Instead considering the new i20, 1.2. The i20 is far better refined with its 4 cylinder engine, and yes costlier than the Renault.
Maintenance is very expensive.
I also don't like Orange
Fixed headrests and thin benches should be banned from a safety standpoint

One of the worst cars to drive. Had driven the Climber AT. Basic features like a damn gear handle. The nob is super uncomfortable. There are no power steering. The steering rotates 360 degrees. The car does not move slowly on D mode. Which is usually a handy thing in Indian traffic and for new drivers. The accelerator peddle is not smooth at all. It jerks very often. The acceleration is super slow. And I am comparing it with a 2012 AStar. Imagine how backdated this car is.

Kwid is the worst car that ever moved on Indian roads. I bought Kwid in 016 after reading good reviews of the car. Ever since, it gave problems. First the water leakage which we discovered the first rainy day when the glove box got filled with rain water. The service centre could not rectify the problem. Next, the engine plastic undercover shield got cracked by a small stone which resulted in engine oil leakage. Then gear oil started leaking. The spare parts are way costly. Even if this car is offered free, my sincere advice is, DONT GET THIS PIECE OF CRAP. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE.

To all the people planning to buy kwid. Donot do this mistake. I recently bought kwid and regretting my decision every day. The car despite of 1000cc engine struggles to climb even a low angle elevation. The mileage the car is giving is equivalent to thar 13kmpl. Worst after sale service I ever had. The car is a total disaster. Rather than go for an Alto or increase your budget a little and go for i10nios, swift or tiago
