The same engine and CVT transmission as in the Nissan Qashqai. I have had mine now for five months and without giving it the kiss of death, it is a fantastic unit. Today, on a 30 mile journey, it returned 51 mpg. 😊

I have watched this video carefully and, as the owner of Nissan QQ J12 Tekna CVT i can see lot's of similarities and same switches. Here in Serbia QQ Tekna is 2k EUR cheaper. Compare to the tested Austral you don't get changing sounds of notifications, for what I think it is more of a gimmick... instead you are getting Winter pack, HUD, electric driver seat, Matrix Led lights, panoramic roof....i believe QQ is more complete package for less money. A good looking car. Much better than the Kadjar. To be honest, if I was looking to buy a big SUV, I’d probably go for Peugeot, if I wanted a French car. Really enjoyed watching the video.

If you buy one for yourself. You choose this engine or the full hybride.

it depends on driving style and where you use it, I think for me this one would be enough, I do long distance highway drives, and also I often drive alone so 160 HP is enough. If someone uses car on shorters distances more often, Hybrid will come to its full glory in those situations and be very very efficient, so if I was driving around the city all the time for example Hybrid would make more sense, so it depends on that
