About the seat comfort aspect, I actually got into a friend's Austral which he had recently purchased and at the time I had a painful back. However, as soon as I sat in the car the pain disappeared LOL. I found the seat to be amazingly comfortable and the cockpit in general a lovely place to be in. Actually the model I sat in had back massaging seats. Your review has actually made me consider the 1.3 4 cylinder engine over the hybrid which I was thinking of getting. The hybrid has 200 hp although this is with both systems combined. 160 hp in a 4 cylinder 1.3 is suddenly tempting. Have you driven the hybrid and which one do you prefer in terms of performance? out of curiosity, why don't you put on copyright free music when you're demonstrating music?

I am revisiting some of your videos as it's time for a car change...for a family of 4 (one 3 year old and a baby), which one would you recommend: Peugeot 408, Citroen c5x, austral (mild hybrid or full hybrid? )? Short trips (40 mins max) mostly. I love the infotainment in austral, the aesthetics of 408 and i guess the comfort of c5x but not sure what is overally better.

C5X is the most comfortable, all are hatch offering more accessibility in storing baby stroller. I really liked the 408 design, but Austral is taller and more easier to get in and place your kids. Honestly though choice. Pug and Citroen have the same infotainment. Austral is bit ahead with Google Android systems. I prefer full hybrid and if you’re leasing you don’t care if it has problems in the long term. I will have C5X next week mild hybrid on test.

Hi Josip, Technologies that I think should but don't have it such as; ACC, lane average etc. No opening sunroof and torsion instead of Rear suspension independent for comfort. No heated steering wheel or heated front seats. CVT transmission + weight that doesn't respond when you want to drive with some performance. Wind noise starts early 100-120+ km. I did not like the sound of the engine, but I am the only one who cares about this issue in the videos I read or watch on the internet. Another problem is that the price of the vehicle is 39 thousand euros.Other vehicles in the similar segment may be preferred.

I bought the iconic version at 45k. It has a full hybrid engine, heated seats and steering, a quieter engine. Of all the cars I test drove (and I did a lot), it is the best one. Can't really fault it. Don't care much for an opening sun roof.

@@Lazarus404sun roof is garbage in my opinion. During winter its less insulation and during summer its too warm.

Josip, would you buy the austral 160cvt or the bmw active tourer 220i? similar pricing let's say

I cant test BWM car in Croatia since there is one exclusive dealer who doesn't give cars for review not even press. Austral is bigger and more comfortable. I would advice testing both cars for you self.

if it's not too late, Austral, but check with your dealer when it'll get a EDC gearbox which is much better than the current CVT with gearchange simulation.

@@flyingdutchman9053 it's probably CVT then. Ask a Renault dealer and give them your VIN if you can't go there in person. They can check that instantly.

23:00 Ne znam za tebe Josipe, ali u totalnome mraku, kao sto je npr na tom delu auto puta gde je potpuni mrak kao i na regionalnim neosvetljenim putevima sva ta "ambijentalna" svetla i ogromni display (ovoga puta u mnozini 🙂 ) bas baass umesju da smetaju i odvlace paznju, ja i ono malo sto ima na PUG 508 gasim. U gradu, ajde boze i pomozi, ali u totalnome mraku bas zamara.

That is because you don't know how to use it, lane assist is not for keeping you centered. You have to use ACC with lane centering function and not lane assist.
