I am an aspiring knitter who has a few knit projects on the needles, but I love pausing them and churning out a crochet pattern that I can love and wear while I knit lol. Today I am going to have a spread out back yard picnic at my mom's. She hasn't seen anyone in a month, so she stays on her blanket, I stay on mine, and we enjoy a safe picnic :)

Hi Chandi so good to hear your uplifting video. Love the shawl!!! I am wondering if you will soon be adding more of the Blossom colors. I am not sure the colors I have chosen will be good together. (Music of Earth, Sunshine Rays,Full Bloom and Free to Fly. ) The Music of Earth is just gorgeous!!!!!!!!! I love blues, lavenders, pink and soft light greens. Question, Would this still drape well (about the same) if I used sport weight instead? I just fell in love with one on the site but it's not Fingering weight. Definitely don't want a bulky heavy shawl 🤔

Hi Rachel, happy to help. I think it would even in sport weight. You might want to adjust needle size when working the Renata shawl with a heavier yarn but I think you should get nice drape with sport weight as well. I hope this helps. Have a great day! 💕
