appreciate this dude, my mom just called me this morning telling me that she has an 80 percent blockage, so I've been trying to find a short video with visuals to learn more about the condition. Thanks again man!

In layman's terms - I like it!
What are the average numbers of blood pressure with such condition? Also can it be possible cause of hypertension in a young guy. I've had high blood pressure - 150-170 since i was 13. Thank you

My blood pressure shot up to 207/90. I admitted to the hospital that same day and was kept there for 4 days undergoing scans and tests. They were able to bring my blood pressure down to between 124-160 (upper number) with medication. Ultimately, the ONLY cause for the swift and out of the blue rise to an upper number in the 200 range is a 60% blockage in my left renal artery. My hospital usually doesn't do stents until the blockage is over 75% (or so I was told by a nurse). I also have 3rd-stage chronic kidney disease caused by meds from afib in Nov. 2022 after a bout with covid. I've only been home from the hospital for 4 days. My blood pressure briefly went down to the 120s on my second day home. But, is mostly in the 140s to 150s.
