I remeber an artist i love (Mike Scott, The Waterboys) saying Mediocrity is the common demoninator.

There is a Coast contra line that is almost word for word with Ren, but I believe this song came out first before that was released.

I was thinking the same thing… this album came out like 6 months ago, and Ren had been releasing a track at a Time like months and months ahead of that, so I’m assuming this song was actually written quite some time ago.

Coast contra "straightening" came out 2years ago. Ren used to preview songs in the making on Instagram long before their eventual release. There's definitely videos of ren spitting the fast bit from wicked ways live on IG from 3/4 years ago.

You've given Ren nothing but love since your first reaction to his work aside from one song, it's nice to see that the unwarranted hate you received for that hasn't soured your opinion of Ren as an artist. Props to you both for rising above all that nastiness with yet another authentic reaction. Ren does a lot of retakes. He does his thing over his favorite records as homage. He also promotes independent artists he enjoys that aren't getting exposer. He'll reach out to his large fan base to check them out

You guys should reach out to Ren and try to set up an interview to discuss the topic. He's spoken on it a few times but I bet he wouldn't turn down an opportunity to talk about 'Hero Worship' and his thoughts as an artist on people liking/not liking things he puts out. It would be good for your channel

There is a Ren song for every mood, vibe and emotion you can think of. That's one of the reasons I love him. No two songs are the same. Some I needed to listen to a number of times before I "got" them. Some songs I listen to on my regular playlist, some I really like to watch reactors, but I wouldn't listen on my daily playlist. Look. There is no "right" way to listen to Ren. Don't mind the folks who get a little over-protective of the Sick Boi. I LOVE your Ren reacts! 🥰🥰🥰

Ren dissing King Dotta, while funny, you would probably need the full context and the other disses as well, like Knox Hill's. Also, it is a bit silly, as was intended, and he even says in it that he's not a battle rapper. So not sure why people recommend it to reactors who are still fairly new to his catalog, as there are much better tracks out there to showcase his rapping skills and you have limited time in the studio to record these reactions. I expect they'll be disappointed by your reaction because I imagine with your knowledge of battle rap you have high expectations. Others have mentioned Seven Sins and Murderer and those are good examples of better tracks.
