Oh REN RAPS!! And BOY does he RAP!! Ren does NOT have a genre, he sings Blues, Reggae, R&B, Rock & he raps. He makes his own beats, and plays multiple instruments including piano, beat boxes, loops and more! He also has a band called THE BIG PUSH, I'm sure you will be introduced to them during your REN journey! Violet was timid and quiet, Stevie the "father" was violent, and the twins would have been put into the system after their mom died and their father locked up, so they would have been split up. Screeche turned out violent like his father who he never knew and Jenny was quiet and timid like her mother.

Everything he does is layered beyond anything I ever heard from another band/artist...There will be music students still writing their dissertations about Ren in 100 years from now.

2005 was 14 years before Jenny's Tale (it was written in 2019). Jenny and Screech were 14 years old.

Ren is an epic rapper as well as everything else! He’s a problem! 🖤 Ren seriously is the best story teller out there. This started off being based off a story Ren read in the newspaper about a young man that slashed and killed a young prostitute. The reporter ended the report with “it’s such a shame” hence Ren using that line a lot. Jenny’s tale came out in feb 2019, screech’s in sept 2019 and violets tale in July 2022. Patrick was with Screech’s girlfriend hence she was “busy”. Notice how Jenny was a quiet girl like her Mom Violet and Screech was violent like his dad stevie. Generational abuse. Such a well written and presented story but definitely very hard to watch especially when you have been through abuse yourself

You've yet to hear him properly raps, or properly sing, or play the myriad of other instruments that he plays, brilliantly! He's a top-notch producer too, prepares his own audio setup, lays down all his own music/beats/audio and doing all his own production. He scats and beatboxes brilliantly too, often while playing an instrument! Oh and he's entirely self-taught in everything! He directs most of his own videos and many, like the 3 and Hi Ren, are recorded live, in a single take! His songwriting is world-class, no matter the genre! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody good poet at that! Rock, punk, metal, reggae, rap, hip-hop, country, R&B, jazz, blues, edm, pop, folk, country, medieval, classical, spoken word poetry, funk... Whatever you like, Ren's got you covered! He does every genre and does them all brilliantly! He even mixes and matches between genres and even has his own genre - bardcore! :)

You missed the two metaphors at the end of the first part after she's stabbed. "Jenny lay on the cold concrete, She's found somewhere to , ...I guess that she escaped". He did NOT say she got away. He's an amazing story writer, amazing music writer, amazing actor, amazing producer... This "kid" should be making blockbuster movies!

Genesis is a great intro to his rap. The Hunger is technical. Losing It is a retake. It's over an EDM beat by Fisher with Ren's lyrics. Murderer is boom bap hip hop. All of his lyrics to all songs have either wordplay, references, double and triple entendres. He never used filler words. A lot of reactors don't catch them all on first listen.
