The Tooth Fairy episode really shocked me as a child. I had never watched anything like it. It was disgusting, dark and absolutely hilarious at the same time. I love this show.

The art style really invoked a disturbed atmosphere

Billy West has a hard time maintaining Ren's affect. It feels like he keeps sliding into Stimpy... or even Fry.

Nick at Night should just be replaced with Nick Splat/Nick Rewind.

Yeah we can only watch so much George Lopez during Nick at Night, I feel like it is the only show they air during Nick at night.

Honestly as a kid I loved this and still do. My parents found it funny and never thought it'd be too twisted for me, I love my parents

This is my favorite Nicktoon series of all time.

Terry I You’re exactly right. He is a Mexican chihuahua. And hoek is German meaning his father was German. So Jon kricfalusi was more Hispanic while west’s ren was modeled after burl ives and Kirk Douglas.

His most famous insults were in Stimpy’s Fan Club and Sven Hoek

One of the few characters from a nick cartoon I can relate to. He's basically me if I were a dog.

I liked Ren a lot more even as a child
