Ska and reggae are big in UK. There was a big Two Tone Ska scene in the mid to late 70s around the time of punk/new wave, with bands like The Specials & Madness having a lot of chart success. Reggae influences also became mainstream in artists like The Police and The Clash (both of which have been big influences on Ren)

Eden went off travelling and I think she got writer's block, but she posted recently that she is currently making some new music 🎶

The big push has a song called Watch Out that has a great video with a little girl skateboarding. I’m pretty sure it’s an original song.

I love that song, and the clip is awesome.

In England we’ve been massively blessed by people from all over the world coming over and influencing us with their music and culture . Reggae and ska has helped to shape generations of us….UNITY!!! ☮️☮️☮️

From what i have read, eden really focused on modeling when her singing career didn’t take off. I agree that she has a great singing voice, and i would love for her to get back in the studio. I was actually surprised that she didn’t after Ren blew up.

This is one of my favorites! Love the vibe and the message. Ren’s collaborations are fantastic and unique. Another one I would highly recommend is “Crutch” featuring Bibi. The song and the video are both stunning! It’s one of his older songs before he got the correct diagnosis and didn’t know whether his health and mind would continue to deteriorate. And yes! You will love Blind Eyed. I would recommend doing both the live M.C. Sessions and the one featuring the Angry Car Park Attendant

Reggae is especially influenced at UK shore. It actually started there and traveled to the deep south, and the islands near there. They did not have great navigation tools. A lot of the Black's during the slave trade years were lucky if they ended up on those island. Reggae was not called that but sung and taught on these ships. Small history trivia. 😉 Ren has lived at Brighten beach since age 19.
