Despite being unable to tour or promote and having no label, management or backing, being deliberately a fully independent artist and despite spending the entire year far from home, in a clinic in Canada, undergoing experimental treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage to his body and brain... Despite all that and more, he watched his album enter the UK charts at number 1, knocking Drake off the top spot! Thereby becoming the first fully independent artist to achieve a number 1 UK album! It also went top 10 in quite a few other countries. So the line doesn't hold true anymore, though at the time it was true. It's been quite a year for Ren and a surreal one too, almost watching it all unfold from the sidelines whilst undergoing treatment. He fully deserves his success! He's an incredible talent and a remarkable human being! :)

Ren got a #1 now. Sick Boi #1 in the UK!

I have yet to hear him on the radio - it's nuts how few people in the UK know of him even now but he had a no 1 album. Unprecedented and kinda shows how labels control airtime not DJs. I really thought more would be playing him by now. 😡

This is Brighton UK and England is known for their double decker busses.

Someone, elsewhere, said that it was a mix of both Brighton and Bristol. Both would make sense as Ren was living in Brighton and Sam in Bristol at the time.

Most cities double decker / single decker, like greyhound on longer trips, but trains more popular. Incidentally - his little hand dance and the end is a joke, it’s kinda clever clothing cliche rave moves from the day - Ren Knows that.

County to county. And their tiny compared to any US state. Double deckers like you saw are just local buses. They don't pick peoe up at a depot just bust stops on the street! ❤❤❤

Most our buses are double decker but we do have single decker too. We have coaches (like your greyhounds) just different companies. I think when Ren said his style is old school he meant his fashion style as he lives in 90s gear. He defo has a top ten now as SickBoi album took number 1 in the U.K. 🖤

Eg I live in Walsgrave which is the area in Coventry (the city) in West Midlands (the county) in England (the country obviously 😂)

City to city and cross country/international busses are called coaches, and yes they are double height with room for luggage under. Nornal busses can be single or double, depending on how busy the route is.

Nice nice ¡! Reaction and coments. Yes your intuition is right. The Uk ( United Kingdom) has only 4 states : Wales, scotland, Ireland and England. And each one of these states are conformed by cities. So England contains big medium and small cities, not states. A group of cities part of a region inside a state, conforms a province. (*) Russia and the USA are 2 of the few and also the biggest countries in the world that are divided in " federal States" because of their gigantic size ( landmass). Few Other countries like Germany ( 16 states) are also divided in federal states, but no country in the world matches the number of states the US has ( 50) or Russia has (86, being russia almost twice the size of the US )... They're not states they're constituent countries of the United Kingdom. The next layer, officially, is the regions, NW England, East Anglia, London etc but in reality very little is done via this level, with the exception of London. The next level down is the borough councils and county councils. Most city councils are a further administrative layer down but some of the larger ones are on the same level. It's furtherther complicated by some regions and cities having mayors, who split power with the councils. At the lowest and most local level, you have the parish councils. There are various local, often ancient, rights and traditions that exist in various small parts of the country, complicating matters still further. As does the existence of various quangos, with varying degrees of authority. Let's face it, our local government is a mess! lol. :)
