Yep! I studied mechanical engineering instead of psychology because of my father but even on his deathbed, due to colon cancer, he refused to say he was proud of me and kept making me feel like an absolute shit. Ended up burning out trying to do a full-time career and finish my degree... now I'm 44 and I'm finally going to get a chance to study psychology like I wanted all those years ago. I might never get the privilege of being a dad but I'll tell my kids I'm proud of them every day... even if they screw up... as long as they own it. :)

Something is happening, Slashley, quickly enough that I can see it. As you, as other reactors, as I myself are watching Ren's progression, WE are actually changing. Ren is our heroic media knight in tarnished armour, showing us lyrically the way to fight the battles we must win.

my take of this example of brilliance is money game 1 a history lesson, money game 2, an economic lesson, and 3 is a life lesson, where free will is the pendulum eternally swaying from the light and dark. where we land is dependent on the side we choose to feed✌❤ thank you for your fabulous reaction!!

At 71 years old, I'm probably your oldest follower, and I really like the way you speak what you feel, and it's been a journey watching you grow. I agree Ren is an amazing story teller but he wants more. He wants to be a teacher, and he'd be so good at it. That he can get people like you to help spread his story tells me the world may have a lot wrong with it, but it has hope too.

You gotta dig into the insane "Money Game" that Ren and his team had us running around for the entire week before this came out - and especially, watch (and react? that would be suuuuper dope!) the livestreamed conclusion to the game where a player dug up a briefcase full of money somewhere on Earth... I won't say any more but yeah, it is monumental

Ren today said in his talk with Knox, that, what he wants to achieve, it is exactly, what you said: communicate, development by collective cooperation, talking about issues, unite instead of divide. He will be happy, to see, that it works out. Therefore he made this project with all these riddles over last week, were people needed to work together, to solve them... He is able, to possibly pull out the best of us. Brighton kids and their "Sick Boi". (Samuel is also Brighton kid,) Great reaction, Slashley! ☀🌧🌈

Your heart and compassion absolutely show in your face. For you to care about a character who is experiencing well-earned consequences of his actions and, in all likelihood, we would absolutely detest IRL, is a testament to your character and humanity. ❤ It's part of the reason I follow you, when I am old enough to be your mother. Good people recognize good people, regardless of generational gaps. Great reaction and commentary, you wise young lady. (And if you need parental pride, I'll be the representative for your parents' generation and say how proud I am of you!)

Great reaction again! You are correct, how your parents raise you sticks with you forever but it doesn't have to define you. My so called father physically abused my mum for years, it affected us all and has given me PTSD, depression and anxiety. I have flashbacks every day, nightmares every night and I am in a lifelong fight to not become him but with a amazing amount of help from my partner, son, family and professionals I am winning. So for all the people who think it's hopeless, can't fight anymore and are having suicidal thoughts please please please talk to someone, see a doctor and keep fighting for the help you need, Ren is changing the world and so can you. Sorry message so long couldn't stop typing 😂😂.

I have watched a bunch of reactions to this video, and most men don’t feel the menace in his father’s words. Every time he says something dudes are like “facts”. Women generally seem to comprehend the menace right away. Who talks to a 5 year old like that? I don’t know if Ren means it this way, but zoomed out, I feel like this is a commentary on how western patriarchy harms everyone, but especially men. Patriarchy harms men? Yes. 70% of suicides in the US are white men…most are middle aged, and most by gun. Our society is toxic, and it’s killing us.

As far as parental approval goes, it's not something that I've seeked out. But, that's because of the loss of one and the distain for the other. But I've noticed that approval seeking has transferred to strangers. Unfortunately as much as I say it doesn't matter, it really does matter. We all want to be praised or validated

This is why I love ya Ash! Great reaction and always str8 up! Im so glad you feel this way it shows that many of us are realizing it is only up to us. We have no "Savior" coming to fix our lives, our government treats us like human "capital" and if we want our children future to be good we are to understand that we are the final guides to show them which paths are harmful and which are not. Ultimately it comes up to them and hopefully we show the right path. I do want to add that not all people are good and want to show a good pathway, there are legit evil people who specifically want the future to be evil for whatever reason (revenge \ spite, ect) so being an individual with self respect and integrity (do good without expectations of anything) is the path I have chosen to raise my son on. Hopefully I get it right! So far so good though! (I know he's my own kid , but im surely impressed with the way he is growing up)... Sincerely Suntzu69!

Background he set up a game in the lead up to release where people could solve riddles about the seven sins and win money. The whole thing was amazing but the end of the final stream Ren taught us all so much on how we can be better as a collective. Honestly you won’t be disappointed. It’s long so you skip some of the journey across the fields. You’ll get it when you watch.

I seriously appreciate you bringing up the problems with following the herd mentality and being afraid to speak out. The most stark situation I noticed this when I was in the army. I got to my first station just in time for a big exercise/event and noticed that it was a total sh*tshow. Our commander ask for input on how things went at the end and I raised my hand and flat told him (respectfully). From that day on I was a marked man. So I made it my point to stand up for my fellow soldiers around me who were too afraid to speak. I wasn’t and would happily take those shots for them.

What an artist - a Broadway show in ten minutes - but he doesn’t need or want that.

For me the saddest part is all Jimmy wanted was his father to say “I’m proud of you son I love you” which is what drove him and what caused the downfall because at 35 his dad died and he knows he will never hear those words.

i love this music video, to me it really talks about how a lot of people are exposed to society only caring about being succesfull, having money,... and so people raising their kids this way only to see what affect and pain it gives sometimes

Yeah I got chills, totally mesmerized! 👌😎 I was expecting a big hip hop anthem and we got something similar to the tale of Jenny and Screech, I wasn't disappointed! Pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hi Ash, you’ve made some truly astute comments and seem wise beyond your years. Keep exploring the world and learning, the fact that you can admit if you’re wrong, or just lack knowledge on something, is HUGE! I just want to add that you always look lovely, your make up is beautifully done, but you are naturally beautiful and seeing you without the lashes & liner just emphasises how lovely you are without the need to add anything. I’m 68, I’ve worn the make up, lashes etc, (not now, ‘cos really? Lol) but I stopped and find I have more time (go figure)which is nice, to do better stuff. You look fab without it, just wanted to say. Love from Annie, in Cornwall, UK🙂🌸
