Yeah, have to agree that you'd have had a much easier (and probably more fun) time if you'd seen the lyric video for part 3. It's worth seeing any way at this point just for the video which is absolutely amazing. But that'll let you catch all the stuff you missed (which wasn't much).

I will never tire of watching you scatting and running and falsetto-styling along with Ren. Thank you!

The first one was written when he was 19-20ish(? maybe earlier) and gives us that wide-eyed youthful optimism that we may have had if Ren hadn't gotten sick. But I love all of them, especially for showing his progression into maturity as an artist.

He must have been around 21 or 22 years old when he recorded it judging by his trick the fox channel. It was initially going to be a Love Music EP for Trick The Fox. When it was written - difficult to say but I imagine he wrote it at some point between Trick The Fox being signed by Sony in 2010 and when they recorded it sometime in 2012.

I don't believe anyone will ever be able to not hear a reggae influence in his singing or production

I think he may house Prince Bowie Freddie and more... his way of talking reminds me of Keith (the Prodigy) He also seems to have a similar manner to Mike Skinner (the Streets) who used to frequent some of same clubs/ pubs as me in the late 90s. Genuinely lovely guy who has had his own extreme health journey.

I love the way your eyes lit up while you were doing these , and Ren was right about your voice . A part of you must know you have some fire in your lungs 🔥

I adore your voice and your tone especially TSR! It’s like a mix of melted butter and chocolate. I always love you singing in your reactions. Beautiful. When I was at the peak of classical voice training I could get that air to spin to extend the notes. I’m older and out of shape now and I can’t do it right now lol. I love that Ren is using his mix voice and sliding down into chest and back up into falsetto. That’s vocal agility, breath control and lots and lots of practice to do it and make it sound effortless, on pitch while also being expressive and artistic enough to let it devolve into fry and crack at the end. His aim is emotion not perfection. That is perfection to me. I can’t wait for Love Music part 4!! Mad respect from Australia 👋🦘🦘🐨✌🏼🇦🇺

Yes, I believe #1 is with Trick the Fox before he got sick. Album was released in 2016, but some songs were written for Sony while he was working on the album for them. I think there were 20 Bond references in #2.

AWESOME!! I was psyched when I saw the title of this. You should really check out the lyric video sometime. It adds a lot to this song. I can't wait for part 4 today! Ren is unreal. In part III where he lost you made me laugh. He doesn’t describe himself in ‘illest of our time” as having a ‘silver tongue and iron lung’ for nothing. The breath control is extraordinary.

I love your reactions, man. Especially because I can tell that you're a great vocalist. You really get into nuances of studio versions vs live stuff, even if you don't mean to. You just get it. I play drums and can sing fairly well but my dad is an amazing vocalist and I always say that the only reason I have any musical ability is because I got it from him. I would love to hear you collab with Ren in the future, maybe on a hook and not savagely roasting someone like you did with the Knox/Dotta thing. Shit was funny but I want to hear what you can really do vocally. We've already had a taste with your reactions but bring it, brother! What i notice most about these thre songs, other than the lyrics of course, is the breathe control.... non singers i dont think realize how freaking difficult that braleathe control is amd how you have to stay on your breathe and centered with it, buoyant. Its just sooo textbook....its not something just anyone can do off the street...

I need to see more reactors doing "Mashup" from Ren while he was in Trick the Fox! Same exact era as Love Music 1 and absolutely EARTH-SHATTERING... he's re-worked it in recent years and filmed it busking with Sam Tompkins as "Improvising around Stevie Wonder" which should be REQUIRED VIEWING for any Ren fan... but with the focus on Love Music due yo today's release of part 4, I wish some reactors would check out his early version with Trick the Fox (which also has a video). So fun to see Baby Ren before he got really sick, and his mate, having SO MUCH FUN being so creative with music. 100% that's the Ren who stood in front of the mic to record LM1.

Thank you because this is my first time hearing this. Part 1 2 3...and I'm a Ren fan. I feel like I'm walking backwards into the world of Ren. I hear undertones of Sublime in this. Bottom line is that Ren is fun for the whole family - the whole human rat race - hes an ace in the whole.
