This was pary of a 2+ hour live stream where they were just chatting and jamming it was totally improv. Lots made up on the spot with random bits of existing songs thrown in. It was awesome. Liv is another busker from Brighton. The full stream is on Rens channel

That is a true thing you just posted.

The talent circle around Ren is never ending lol. Liv is fantastic - does a lot of freestyle and improv. Her and Ren improvising together is on another level entirely - they just intuitively know how to accompany each other and drive the song forward. I did comment a week or so ago with a couple of links of performances of theirs which hopefully you can react to (and they don't get blocked).

@@VocalCitizen It's over 30 years since I last lived in or around Brighton. It has a unique vibe. Saw Don McLean in concert at the Brighton Dome, around 1974-75. They used to have an arts festival back then, but I can't remember most of it as it was so long ago.

I've been privy to many an improv jam session. The energy that swirls around the ether is often infectious and powerful. What a gas, watching it happen... Unreal.

What's amazing is that virtually the entire stream is improvised! At any point either Ren, Liv, or both are making it up as they go. In this clip it's mainly Ren. One of my favourite parts is when they make up a song, on the fly, aboutalien space frogs,lol. It's silly but hilarious. :)

This is my absolute favourite piece of all of Ren's stuff. It always makes me feel good. Liv is amazing in this, I'm thinking Carole King mixed with Joni Mitchell and a smattering of Janis Joplin thrown in. I turn 64 next month and I could listen to this all day long.

ALSO Ren is moving to the States in a few months. He's pretty much done with treatment in Canada. He goes back to the UK to play some shows and hang with family and friends, then he's either moving up Connecticut, New Jersey or New York. He knows it'll be better for his career and he'll also be only two hours away groom from his doctors in Canada if he needs them.

I heard he is moving in the northern part of the US on the West Coast. Washington, or Oregon is about a 2-hr plane fight to Calgary. Calgary is closer to the west coast of Canada. He will also be a 2-hr flight to LA, Cali as well. He has a producer friend in LA that he will be able to use equipment to finish his album, keep touching base with Netflix and busk on Venice Beach. Seattle or Portland has a big music scene. That is my guess logistically. But you never know with Ren, he could end up in Las Vegas or Colorado. I don't think he will be on the east coast because those flights being much longer than 2 hrs especially with lay overs but you never know with Ren and we will see in a few months.
