Now, Chris Eubank - another British boxer from the 90's, who lives in Ren's adopted home of Brighton, is as mad as a box of frogs, drives round in a huge American truck for no apparent reason, dresses like an Edwardian gamekeeper, and loves quoting poetry - him I could see appearing in a lyric...hell Ren could write an entire album about him

Super fun track! He absolutely killed it again. Very 90s / club vibe and the flows from both of them were excellent. But that said, it was a straight up mic-drop flex from Ren, lol. Not going to lie he reminds me of Eminem when he first came out, not sound-wise, but that Ren is shaking up the industry just like Eminem did, that being said as much as I love Eminem, he’s nowhere near as talented as Ren, I mean the man plays like every instrument, sings like an angel, can rap his ass off, AND produces his own beats, etc. I can go on and on

No matter how someone feels about Em, you have to admit, he paved the way for white rappers. Em has had influence on the whole rap industry so listeners catch his influence even without recognizing it.

Waited to watch it on here so a first watch for me. Are we going there again Ren? 😂 I think that was one of his best in terms of rhyme schemes, the William and Sonnet one a highlight for me. He's an innuendo rhyme master 😂Cant believe he had a Uri Geller reference in there too, I don't think I've seen him on tv since the 1980's. Lots more to catch on further listens. Only (tiny) criticism I could say was I thought the ending got a little repetitive in that it went on a touch too long, but only a first listen so might not think that listening more. And no you didn't blush one bit 😜

He had a catchphrase because there was this old boxing commentator at the time called Harry Carpenter who got quite friendly with him and when he'd interview him after fights, Frank, bless him, wasn't the brightest, but a lovely guy, a gentle giant really, and he would say after almost every sentence, "Know what i mean, 'arry?" and it became a thing, he even did an advert if I remember right where he used it. I remember us all saying it at school 😂
