Ren posted Thur afternoon that he'd been tied up with treatment all week and was just getting ready to write and film his response, because he knew his fans were waiting for it. So he really didn't spend much time on it. What amazes me is that he memorized and performed it so quickly. And I haven't seen any reactor take note of that.

Youre right! I was definitely thinking that (the fact that he performed this whole thing while also kinda clapping a beat here n there, all all planned in a few minutes) but I'll admit I got absolutely distracted by the disses because they were so funny that I didn't remember to point it out at the moments I paused 😂😂😂

Ren gave him some shine..... But.... Right at the end, he reminded us with the music that it's STILL a funeral. . Never cut a Ren track early, there's often something in the last 5 seconds. (Same with "Hi Ren'.... The last look at the camera was there for a reason (imo) but many cut early and don't see) it

Dotta stipulated that Ren should not have music or beats. Ren was in intensive treatment on the run up to this Diss reply whatever He still made a clever funny entertaining diss that Dotta said he enjoyed

Can't blame Ren for the apologies... he's been living in Canada for almost a year. It's what we do. Dotta basically said Ren was too skinny to lift bars... so the fat jokes were a reply, making them fair play.

Ren's too kind? His kindness is the _most_ savage element of the track, imo. It's like I heard Polamalu say in an interview once: after he tackled someone, he always tried to get on his feet quickly so he could offer to help the guy up. Because it twists the knife.

I went back and watched your reactions to Knox before this one. Now it's had chance to settle in, you can't compare Knox and Ren because both were brilliant. I love Ren, and he ended up as himself. But... also Knox was so brutal it was fun. There's no way Dotta can come back from that. And it's acceptable because he asked for it. In words. I am not as good a person as Ren. I did give Dotta the time, but he lost my sub almost immediately by posting something about a toxic relationship where it sounded to me as if he was the toxic one. And I don't need to follow anything negative like that, so... 🤷‍♀

I think Ren went into the personal at the beginning and didn’t diss his rap ability because he knew he would offer him some redemption at the end and recommend people check him out. Dotta said he laughed all the way through and was actually eating Red Velvet cake at the time he watched it. He said Ren won and all was cool.

I agree in terms as artist vs artist. Diss track vs diss track though, Knox had the better one as he had an abundance of flows, deeper cult insults, and of course he put more effort into it as he had a beat to go off of. That's what I meant in this reaction. Ren is too nice for battle rap haha I love it

I agree Knox is better at diss tracks it’s why I said from the start just let Knox do it. Because he can gain off it. But I will admit I was wrong. Because Ren twist at end, shows me why he did it. Also I like Knox. I don’t really really want to take shots at him. I just personally don’t think he should be in ball park of Ren. So it’s just a odd feeling for me. It’s my own personal bias I guess. But I do like Knox. Just Ren is different

I watched his reaction to this, he laughed most of the way and had a bit of a meltdown when he heard the diss on him, came back and was like... okay, that was good, can't hate on it. He'd been confused by people in his comments calling him a pokemon with dreads. He's reacted (badly) to some Ren tracks, but he's not very deep, doesn't really go below the surface or listen much... he liked the Ren X Chinchilla stuff because like a shallow hater, he's got a crush on Chinchilla lol
