@2big there is a blender3d-driven personal fabricator available out there if you look for it. It can print just about any 3d object provided it is a manifold mesh and the materials you use are soft enough for the motor and etching head. also, the fabricator is capable of fabricating 90% of its own components, minus the motor, etching head and electronics, so once you have one, its not too hard to have it copy itself a few times.

i cant do anything better than you, but i'll say that face isn't exactly the kind i like but the details on the neck, ribs and shoulder were GREAT

yeah, but 3D printers are not that much smaller than a household washing machine(some are bigger), so I think it might take a while before they are ergonomically designed to fit anything more than a factory or a professional office... good idea though.

BRING ON THE BIG FUCKIN 3D PRINTERS!! I can't wait till you can have a 3d printer in your home, sculpt up somethin awesome (maybe with the tacticity of a motion-tracking glove) then print it out solid! Good job by the way :D

the kids are probably seeing this as an old woman b/c of the gray color. any artist who's done any figure study would know better. Good job.

But it is virtual, as in not tactile. I dont think virtual art is being discredited here just rightly labeled as different

good work, but no offense, just i think thath the face needs detail to be a very good job! and it looks like and old woman, because of the wrinkles in the neck and the detail in the body, keep working, you are good!
