Moving the links at about a 90 degrees worked great. Pins unscrewed easily with supplied screwdriver but would not pull out. You're the only one who pointed this out. Thank you.

As a punch you can use a wooden toothpick - those olive picks are great, since wood won’t make any scratch and it is not a lot of power needed to push that spring; in a again with the nail like in the video! Great, thank you!

I don't know but I had to remove six links to fit my medium sized wrist.
