Removing Frame Rivets the Easy Way
After banging my hands up and ringing ears I decided I'd try to remove the rivets another way. You could always blow the rivets out or wash the head off but this kept me from damaging the frame any. I'm just not good enough with a torch for that.

Good tip If you adjust your torch it would be faster The preheat flakes should be defined and conical There should be very little wide flame This is the greatest heat setting and concentrated great for rivet heads! Keep up the great videos
Cutting torch is overkill, use a small welding or brazing tip your annealing the metal

i used to cut a cross then air hammer. Found out it's easier to to grind the whole head off then air punch out the rest.
how drunk was the engineer when they decided to put rivets in the frame?

Not a good idea for rivets next to a fuel tank.

then use a heat shield. and rivets are a bad idea for a machine people need to repair eventually
If you ever invest in a plasma cutter you'll find that you'll never use anything else for rivets again.

I definitely need to get one
My frame rivets are seized as fuck. The air hammer is just demolishing them not even moving them. Should I just deal with it and torch them out?
