Removing Brush with Kubota RTV x1100 Winch and HD Brush/Shrub Clump Grubber

Features general process that works for us to remove small trees, shrubs and brush using the Brush Grubber BG-19 Heavy Duty Clump Grubber.
We are using a 4K Kubota Super Winch on a Kubota RTV x1100.
Trees and brush were in rich soil - the Grubber works best in spring and summer after rainfalls to loosen the soil. We have used it with 100% success rates. The key is to make sure the chain teeth are positioned to bit into tree it shrub and wrap chain twice for max bite and effectiveness. We do use tension dampeners on the winch cable and forgot it on this pull. We returned to grab the remaining gear. We realize having a tension dampener is a safety step everyone is encouraged to use.

Can't you do that with any chain? Wrap it three times and pull.

If you have a chain I think it’s always worth a try. When I’ve used chains on smaller brush or trees without a lot of lower branches to grab into, they tend to slip a bit more but they have worked for other brush that have a lot of branches on the bottom to bind into. Appreciate the comment.
