Removing and Installing Office Chair Casters with Self Braking Chair Casters

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video is a full step-by-step tutorial on how to remove your chair casters and install new chair casters for your office chair. The casters shown in this video are known as self-braking chair casters or also known as compression chair casters. These casters are great at locking the wheels automatically as soon as weight is applied to the chair.
Compression Casters / Self Braking Casters are great for many industries to ensure the user does not move around or fall out of the chair when being used.

How Self-Braking Casters Work:
Once a person sits in the chair, the weight of the person compresses down towards the casters which engage an automatic wheel brake to prevent the chair wheels from rolling freely. Once the person stands up they will be able to roll the office chair freely.
Industries / Applications:
Compression Chair Casters are commonly used in Nursing Homes, Retirement Centers, Hospitals (Post-Op Surgery), Rehabilitation Centers, and Physical Therapy Centers to name a few. These casters prevent the chair from slipping away while it is being used and as soon as the weight of the person is removed from the chair, the chair will automatically roll freely. This prevents unwanted falls and injuries in many industries.
