The fisherman getting injured wasn't a shark attack. It was a shark defending itself.

A lot fish are attracted to shiny things, that’s why so many lures are shiny metal. I can’t agree or disagree with your statement, but I wouldn’t be surprised if sharks too were attracted to something shiny attached to meat

Barracuda are attracted to shiny objects hung around your neck, j valves used for scuba. Divers know that.
Also don’t wear a black or brown swimsuit….same color as seals
