Yesterday I also went to the nail salon and took my dog to the groomer. I prepooed last night and today is Wash Day which will consist of the rest of my weekend! LoL

I have had my hair in since December 31st and I'm taking them out this week. And my edges have knots and so much buildup that it feels really hard. I also want your advice on what can I use or what to do to fix this. I've also been suffering from a lot of breakage and I need help.

Frankenslime sometimes some of us have no choice but to leave our hair in a protective style for a certain amount of weeks maybe a month just for growth or length retention

Lmao literally called off twice to take out my butterfly locs and wash it week 😂😂😂

My dumb self almost went in the shower with all the gunk and stuff so that you for saving my hair. I’m a teenager just learning how to do my hair on my own so this helped a lot thanks 😊

when i was a teen after i took my braids out my dumb self went straight to washing my hair.. OMG ..my hair matted up worse than dreads smdh.i thought my mother would have to cut my hair but she saved it. thank you god!

Same happend to me twice I knew what to do but sometimes I would forget idk how but I did I was so stupid

The mistake I made when I got my first set of box braids was exactly what you were talking about (how you shouldn’t hop into the shower without separating the matted roots). It was a NIGHTMARE. I lost handfuls of hair in the process of detangling the knots omg it took hours. I was in tears😭

I just took my braids down last night, this video came perfect timing

I love how happy and in love you are with your type 4 hair! As a type 4 girl who also loves her 4c strands (my current pic is old af i now have alot more hair..lol) , i long to find influencers who not only give tips for type 4 hair, but also seem to really appreciate and love their hair for what it is. Nothing more nothing less...no back handed comments about it being too much just pure love and appreciation!

I know I’m late but I was dreading taking my braids out because of the inevitable buildup and that’s how I found this video. I ordered this product and used it today to pre-poo and pre-detangle. I cannot believe I went my whole life without this product, it’s one of the BEST purchases I’ve ever made. Thank you so much! The buildup just MELTED 🙏🏾❤️

I tried to find this today cuz of my build up after 2 1/2 months of braids... and i couldn’t find it at Walmart 😫🥺 i about cried cuz ugh idk what else to do

@@12breevans what I do is get a grease/oil you use and put it on the bulid up and roots then use ur fingers to detangle then after that put in a mask then comb then twist n you can leave it for how long until you are ready to wash ( I usually wash the next day)

@@morgantamia5313 this REALLY works! It only took my a few hours including breaks for me to detangle my mess.

I remove the build up after taking out each braid so I would not miss any out n it’s easier to detangle

Same. My hair never looks bad. Then again I don't put anything in it after it's done. 😂 The new growth and tugging is what makes me take it out. Of course the need to wash it too.

Update: The pre-poo felt so good in my hair. My hair grew a lot and I had minimal hair breakage during the take down thanks to your video. Didn't realize I had been causing so much hair loss with my take down method. Thanks again!

This pre poo is the truth.. I love it! Use it every wash day.

I get it, but honestly I’ll be losing hair either way, I’d rather finger detangle with conditioner in the shower, then shampoo then deep condition. Absolutely loved this video though, great vibes and your tone of voice is heavenly! I think if I moisturized my hair more I’d be able to do this but my hair is dry and colored so I’m always super nervous handling it dry (or after taking out faux locs)

Im starting to meal prep and going a life style change 💯😬

I love this product but i noticed that washing it out i have major tangles and after watching you i noticed that i don’t detangle enough!!! Lol because the slip is so good i don’t separate my hair enough.
