This has been a long project with many changes along the way, but the RTV body is done. I'll be starting the interior fun (lights and smoke) in the new year. If your curious, it's based on a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 remote control truck.
The RTV is mostly made of custom designed 3d printed parts. After 4 months of tweaking, the body looks close to the one they used in the movie.

This is the most accurate version I see till now and defenetly the most accurate on KZread. Congrats on this fantastic detailed build! Love that you used a powerful base, seems this thing is able to drive like in the movie. Hoping to finish mine accurate one this year. Saw all the changes, that you mentioned, to the normal ghost Trap during the building process and had to always change and reprint parts.

Thanks! It was definitely challenging, and there are still a few little things to fix, but in general I’m pleased that it turned out, and also happy that folks like it. :)

Did you use the stock pan from the traxxas RC? or did you shorten it?

I started with the stock pan, I took off a few inches and made it narrower as well. The wheelbase I calculated from the blurry pictures in the trailer was 210mm.

220mm is the wheelbase of the files on Thingiverse. The real prop might be a couple of mm different.
