Remote Software Developer Makes 4 Crores/Yr 🔥 ft.
Ойын-сауық
Hey Everyone,
In this video, I have Harkirat Singh with me, a 2018 Computer Science undergrad from IIT Roorkee. He's been a part of Google's Summer of Code twice and has worked at FAANG, Finance, and Startups over the last 4 years since graduating. He had resigned from Goldmann Sachs just before COVID to explore more opportunities. He made around 80 Lakhs/Yr through freelancing and eventually grabbed a 4Crore/Yr Package as a remote software developer!
As the world has rapidly transitioned to remote work in recent years, software development has emerged as one of the most popular careers for remote workers. In this video, we will explore the reasons behind this trend and the advantages and challenges of remote software development.
Harkirat will discuss the many benefits of remote software development, including the flexibility to work from anywhere, the ability to choose your own schedule, and the potential for increased productivity and work-life balance. We'll also explore the diverse range of teams and clients that you can work with from all over the world, which can help you develop your skills and build a global network of contacts.
However, we will also delve into the challenges that come with remote work, including the need for self-discipline and time management skills, the potential for isolation, and the communication barriers that can arise when working with remote teams.
Throughout this video, Harkirat will share his personal experience and insights, drawing from his years of experience working remotely as a software developer. Whether you're interested in pursuing a career in remote software development or you're already working remotely and want to learn more about how to make the most of your remote work experience, this video is for you!

Leap of faith and I am on a break for almost 3 months but got a lil derailed from the focus and it really motivated me to get started with the courage...Thank you Harkirat
Harkirat is a really humble guy. It was a great episode.
Bhai ye banda gajab hai. I can hear this guy whole the day long , Literally whole the day long !!! How can someone be so sensible and sorted . I wish I could be half as sorted as you 😎 I really wanna get around such guys just to seek similar smartness .
awesome man, "taking that leap of faith for a 3-month break". thanks for sharing this! that should be your tagline/thumbnail man.
Thanks for this video. Apparently I'm in the same shoes Harkirat was in 3 years ago. He's a great motivation to me
One of the best podcast.. The guest speaker sounds so mature and the viewer remains hooked till end of video.
I totally agree with the work conditions in India. Superiors think they own you and your time. In the US, even if you are a manager, you can never pull rank(never seen it happen except with Indian people who try to bring Indian work culture to the US who are thankfully put in their places).
One day I will become like you, sir. A bunch of respect and love for you.. ❤🙏
I will appreciate ishan's ability of choosing questions. I have seen a lot of podcast regarding this career or industry but this one is different. Its feel like Ishan asking what exactly i wanted to know. He is fabulous.
Really great video...got greater insights🤝
Great podcast ✨
I am doing nothing in life but this ammused me, how much ppl are motivated in life.

For the first time J really have a genuine respect towards an IITian, very practical and intelligent and humble as far as he portrayed himself professionally ❤❤.

Good to hear these kinds of podcasts
Thank you! Insightful video.

Love both of you guys !! Such an informative view
Thank You making this video!
He is one in a billion literally
The most important thing in today's world is not idea or lack of opportunity or lack of secrets , it's the availability of proper playing field that is lacking . By playing field I mean , the time when you are not bound to act in a certain way ( fixed way ) or free time or the time that you are free from responsibilities , the time can vary from 2 to 3 years , in that time period , Maths will help you , maths ie PROBABILITY , when you take multiple small bets and get rich when one of them hits . May god help you all to find your playing field , some make it early because their parents are in good position to let their child run free in the wild for 2 to 3 years , mainly in college , but that can be anytime in the life . That's my understanding . Hope this helps .
Everything I needed in one video!
really informative from this video
I am taking that leap of faith for me...

nice information. keep learning and keep growing :)
can you guys explain the tax part of it in detail or point me to some nice place where I can understand would love to know about that in detail really liked the discussion being a remote developer myself

How you applied for remote job in USA , you didn’t mention ? Please share
Modi have done a lot to elevate India to world stage now we are getting international exposure and high salary. Modi power 💪
But how actually one can avoid taxes? Because even the US company has to pay taxes there even if they hire us remotely, isnt it??
Amazing video bro....25 min kaise chale gaye pata hi nahi chala !!!❤❤
ohhh sound at 10:33
Everyone is running behind the money. Not realising the what is the impact of the work we are doing ? every one is doing job for their own interst. and this is destroying our planet. I am not against money, i am against mindlessly joining jobs without seeing the large picture.
Couldn't understand , he speaks about Blockchain & Smart Contract which he works but his LinkedIn profiles shows about AI , ML only.
Ishan can you please the best course to learn web3 and smart contracts etc like in udemy or any other platform , I want to get into them
But if we're working for a US based company remotely then won't t they pay us salary after taxes?? I don't understand on how actually you're avoiding it by forming a company.
Learn many things from this channel ❤
12:19 " agar college jana hi hai toh IIT hi chale jao"

@Ishan Sharma if you know Math then you can understand ie. In a month working days 22 and average 22.5 (22.5 Days X 12 Month = 270) In a year average 30 days holidays for that they do not pay to Remote Develope, if you have working from there you will get ST and STW (if you want, i can explain this if you want , because i know this very well, the reason is im providing support and service in US and Canada, i can prove my proof) 270 Day - 30 Holidays = 240 Working Days 240 Days X 8 Hrs = 1,920 Hr/Y Rs 40,000,000 / 1,920 Hr = Rs 20,833/Hr Rs 20,833 / 80 = $260/Hr They hire remote developer because of low cost, they get Good developer @ $100/hr in local I know these thing because of i have full fledged payroll software, which is fully running in US and Canada
Is Btech needed for all this....I think skill matters...
